81 balls remaining to chase 76 runs by RCB against DC is the second-most in a successful IPL chase, only behind 87 balls left by MI to chase 68 runs against KKR at Wankhede in the 2008 season. The previous record for RCB was 71 balls against KXIP while chasing 89 runs at Indore in 2018. This is the 15th time RCB has won by 9 or 10 wickets in an IPL game, well ahead of SRH and MI (9 times each).

Three wickets each by Bhuvneshwar and Hazlwood inside the powerplay is also the first time two bowlers picked three wickets each in overs (1-6) in the same IPL innings.

4/12 is Josh Hazlewood's joint best bowling figures in T20 cricket alongside those against Sri Lanka in Sydney in 2022. This effort by Hazlewood is the second-best figures for RCB vs DC in IPL after 5/25 by Jaydev Unadkat at the same venue in 2013.

189 runs (264 vs PBKS & 75 vs RCB) difference for DC in their last two innings totals - it is the highest difference in two successive games for any team in the same IPL season (excluding no-results, successful chased games). The previous highest was 164 runs by RCB in 2017, when they scored 213 against GL & then bowled out for 49 runs against KKR in the two successive matches.

2.5 overswhen DC used their impact sub against RCB today is the second-earliest usage of the Impact substitute in the first innings of an IPL match. MI used this option in the second over in their game against RR at Wankhede in 2024.
