PLAYER OF THE MATCH
That's it from this one. There's a lot of cricket going on around the globe. Hop tabs to catch that. For now it's bye bye.
David Warner | Player of the Match: Yeah, look, it was tough to start losing two early wickets, but we know on this wicket, if you can hang in there and play good cricket shots, you can get to a competitive total. And I thought that was very competitive, but we knew at the top, the strength, the power that they had. And it was one of those games where you, you knew that one of Wardy or Mitchy was probably going to go off, but they both went off, which is unfortunate, but look they played very well. (walking into bat so early) Yeah, look, I've been in that situation a few times in my career, in all formats, but you've got to back yourself and grind it out, and when it's a true surface, you can actually give yourself some time. You just got to negate those two new-balls in the first four. We are all still trying to work out how to go in that first four, do we go hard and back-end it. But well this is a nice surface here at the moment. But we, as a group, have to work out how we're going to go about playing on this surface. (on his 100 celebration) Yeah, look, as I said, once I got 50, they wanted me to do it. I told them to forget about it, but, yeah, look, you've got to keep the little girls happy. No, look, they're a class team, and they've chased very well the last couple of years, and without Tim David, you'd think you're a bit of a chance when it comes to that Surge. But when they got off to a good start, and there's no early wickets and there's no pressure. They could play the way that they wanted to, and they dictated from the get-go. (on Mitch Owen) Yeah, look credit to him. He's found a little bit tough start in the tournament, but he's a bit stiller tonight, and, hopefully for his sake, he can keep coming out and bashing it like he does. (plans for rest of the season?) Yeah, look, we've played one complete game this year where Gilkesy and Sammy played very, very well, and the bowlers bowled outstanding. Yeah it's just back to basics and trying to start well with the ball and the bat, and if we're able to do that, that can look forward to actually playing a complete game. But, yeah, look, there's high morale still in the group. You come to any of our training sessions, no-one's quiet, I'll give you that tip. So, yeah, look, we're all up and about, but it's just not winning for us at the moment.
22:38 Local Time, 11:38 GMT, 17:08 IST: What a chase by the Hurricanes! They have destroyed a chase of 206 with 13 balls to spare. That's some statement to make. Mitch Owen and Tim Ward made it look easy with that opening stand. A good batting wicket and the ball just flew eveywhere. Ward was the aggressor and he deserved a 100 but fell to Sams in the Surge. The openers added 108 and they sent Rehan at 3. Every batter who came in looked to attack and despite two wickets in the Surge, the chase was never in doubt. The Thunder had no answers to that chase. The Hurricanes move top of the table with this win while the Thunder are lying last on the table. Stay tuned to find out who the player of the match is....

Wes Agar to Matthew Wade, FOUR, what an effort from Konstas at deep backward square-leg. A slower-ball on a length on middle, Matthew Wade goes on the back foot and pulls flat, Konstas dives to his right and with an outstretched right hand gets something on it, it is rolling away to the cushions, he can't pull it back, the ball kisses the cushion as Konstas scrambles to pull it back.
