That's all from this one. Very short turnaround for Multan Sultans who play again tomorrow. Do join us for that game. Until then, it's goodbye.
Turner | Multan Sultans captain: Slightly different conditions than the last two games. Did well in all three facets which is satisfying. I was probably going to bowl the first one but we expected two left-handers at the top. Fair play to them, they changed that. We feel we've underutilised our spin in powerplay. If conditions suit that, it's a nice option. It's part of it but at the base of it (helpful to have Australians in the camp), it's good people. We've got good people who are our domestic players, our local support staff. Guys are playing with a smile on their face. Might go find somewhere to find a blanket and pillow and sleep here, very short turnaround.
Shakeel | Gladiators captain: Can see the trend of teams attacking us with spin. When you lose early wickets, you're just playing catch up. It's an area of concern that we're losing wickets in a bunch. If your main bowler is injured and you're playing with five bowlers without the luxury of an allrounder, it dents your chances.
Nawaz | POTM: Idea is to bowl stump to stump in powerplay. Keep watching the feet of the batter. At Lahore the good length is around 5 meters, want to stay there. Definitely try to turn the ball which creates doubt in the batter. Should have gone with the reverse-cup technically, but I was on the move, went with what I felt (talking about his catch). Happy that I got to bowl to the right-handers. Was bowling a lot to left-handers in the previous games. Want to play with the batter's mind. I'm only a fingerspinner at the end of the day, need to play some mind games.
22:06 Local Time: Third loss for the Quetta unit. They were too many below par and that has come back to haunt them. Farhan and Smith came out all guns blazing and almost closed off the chase inside the powerplay. Farhan played one shot too many and Smithy managed to get to his fifty. Masood was calm and attacked when needed to ensure the chase was never in doubt. Third win for the Sultans who seem to be ticking most of the boxes. The bowling attack had the quality to defend 166 but Farhan and Smith at the top were just too good. They went after the pacers and post that the scorecard pressure was eliminated.
