That's it from today. Another game awaits us. Hop tabs and follow that! Bye for now...
Marnus Labuschagne: Yeah, well, that's so good. But again, I think we're just finally now on our feet. Yeah, I think that we kept stressing during those times where it wasn't going that well is there was some really good things that we were doing and we just wanted to keep reiterating that to the team and going, we're not that far away. And we've been able to put some really good performances together. Even today, it was a little bit more niggly with that low score on a tricky wicket, but you know, Irfan and KP just did such a great job to finish our game off for us. So good. I think they've just been so critical in the way they've gone about it. They've (Hunain and Ali) read the game, they've understood the conditions and I'm so, so impressed with them. So it's nice to be where we are now.
Mohammad Rizwan: The pitch was tricky. We had discussed about getting 140. The pressure was built by Shah and Ali. So, credit to them. There are positives but when you don't get results, the positives don't matter much. But yes, we did manage to get a few wickets.
Hunain Shah, Player of the Match: Like the previous game, I worked on a few things. I tried to bowl as per the demands of the pitch. Ali is an experienced bowler. I enjoy bowling with him. He shares his tips. As a bowler, I focus on things. I always try to be the main bowler of my team and bowl with responsibility.
17:48 Local Time: Four losses on the trot and now three wins on the bounce. The Hyderabad unit have seen both ends of the spectrum but want to carry on at this end as they have gained momentum now. 121 was never threatening but once again the bowlers of the Pindiz put up a spirited performance. They tried hard but the runs on the board were never enough. There were a few wickets going down in the early phase of the chase. But Labuschagne, Kusal Perera and Irfan Khan did enough to see off the chase in the 17th over. This helps the NRR of the Hyderabad unit as well. This win has propelled them to be 4th on the table. The Rawalpindiz, well, they are in the dumps now. They have never moved much from there actually. 6 losses on the trot is tough to digest. They still have a glimmer of hope but even that glimmer is on borrowed time now.
