That's all from the league stages. Next up are the Playoffs with the Qualifier to be played on Tuesday. It will be Islamabad United taking on Peshawar Zalmi. Until then, it's goodbye!
Shadab | Islamabad United captain: When you win, a lot of flaws are hidden. Our death bowling needs improvement. Also the catching, the catch I dropped. Catches win matches. The pitch was really good. Idea was to take it deep because we have the players who can play cameos. The way Haider played, and Mohsin who debuted in the last game and showed great intent today. We know all about Chapman, all of us in the Pakistan lineup have seen enough of him and know the kind of love he has for us. Obviously the goal is to finish in the top two and we have achieved that. We have the momentum with us.
Turner | Multan Sultans captain: We weren't far off par. But being par means you still need to execute your skills in the second half. Unfortunately we weren't able to do that. Some key missed opportunities cost us the game which is frustrating. But we know we have opportunities lying ahead of us. We played really good cricket in Lahore, particularly our batting unit. We'll enjoy going back there. Need to pick ourselves up. Hopefully our best cricket is ahead of us. Every decision we make in the game is tactical (Minhas not bowling). Mark Chapman plays left-arm orthodox bowling pretty nicely. To be fair to him he played all of our bowlers nicely. It's a matchup thing. We do our due diligence and prepare as best we can. If we held some catches, might've been different.
Chapman | Player of the Match: Enjoying my time here, enjoy coming here. Playing some good cricket. Happy with the lads. These last 4 days we have played 3 games, has been tough on the lads. Obviously Peshawar pose a great threat. Look forward to playing against them. Enjoyed batting with Shadab. Top cricketer, top man.
22:32 Local Time, 17:32 GMT, 23:02 IST: Superb knock of 69 off just 33 balls from Mark Chapman has sealed the deal for Islamabad. The much-coveted top-two finish is theirs and they've earned the right to play the Qualifier. Multan will have to settle with third place and they'll go up against Hyderabad Kingsmen in the Eliminator. The run-chase was in the balance until Chapman arrived and turned it in favour of Islamabad. He was dropped early in his innings by Mohammad Wasim Jnr and never looked back. Stay tuned for the presentations...
