PLAYER OF THE MATCH
We have 10 matches left and the race to the playoffs is still wide open. Top placed RCB will have a chance to seal one of those spots when they face fourth-placed PBKS in Dharamsala tomorrow. The latter are on a 5-match losing streak and will need to be at their best to upstage the defending champions. That's the afternoon match and it should be a cracking contest in the mountains. Do join us for all the action. For now, cheers and bye..
Sunil Narine | Player of the Match: I think it comes with hard work. I think the guys have been preparing very well. I think we have been putting in the hard yards, so it's showing. So hopefully we can continue and just continue winning cricket games no matter what the tournament has in store for us. No, I think it's all about planning what is in front of you. I think every game brings a different challenge, so you're just trying to come on top of that challenge. So today was this one, the next game might be differently, but it's all about trying to win the scenarios and win what is in front of you. And not trying to overthink. I think if you overthink things, it gets a bit tougher than it normally is. I mean, yeah, being a senior guy and God giving me the talent and the health and strength to play 200 (about his 200th IPL match). Hopefully I play many more. I think it's a blessing. It's something that has gone a long way and it's a long journey and the journey continues. So hopefully I can continue bringing these sort of performances and playing as long as possible.
Rahane | KKR captain: Very good game. Really happy with two points. Tired - it was humid inside, but really happy. The way we started with the bat, losing the toss and then put into bat. Amazing to see Finn Allen, Angkrish and Cameron Green's knocks. That partnership. That intent. And every single time putting quality bowlers under pressure. It was amazing. So credit goes to these batters. Preparation always has been fantastic. I mean, the guys have been preparing really well. The talk was all about taking one game at a time. We know the scenario where we stand at the moment. So it's simple. And as I said earlier, that cricket is a game. When you keep it really simple, don't make it complicated, it works the most for you. So today, batters backed their strength. As I said, intent was amazing. Don't forget they have a quality bowling attack, all the pace bowlers, spinner as well. So it was amazing to see batters going out there and dominate each and every time. And also when we were bowling, new guy, Saurabh Dubey has been fantastic. Kartik has been really good. So it was overall, I thought it was a fantastic effort from the bowling unit. It's all about trusting their ability. All these guys have been doing really well in the domestic season. And I always felt whenever you are doing well in the domestic, you carry that confidence forward. And that's what's really helped me as well whenever I was doing well in the domestic. So that's working well for them. Saurabh Dubey played well in the Vidarbha league. When he came here, all the bowlers and the coaches, they thought, he has the talent and height as well. And he's been working really hard with the bowling coaches. So message from my side is nothing basically. So credit goes to these guys who've been doing really well, working really hard. And it's all about belief. It's all about confidence. Makes my job really easy. When you know Sunil Narine is in your team and Varun was, he was struggling, but still, I mean, credit to him as well. He showed that courage to play this game. He had this sore foot. But when you have Sunil Narine and Varun Chakaravarthy in your team, I can't ask for more. I mean, I'm always happy. I can throw the ball any time from any whichever end. And they're always there to deliver. So really happy.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi: Yes I did, especially because we won (enjoyed that innings?). Got so easy for me, just had to give him (Allen) strike and watch from the other end. That was my role at the start of the innings. I'm not used to the keeping duties, it's taking everything out of me. The score says it all, I thought it was a great surface. Hope we can play on these surfaces every game. They have to kick me out of the nets, I play a lot of balls. Ever since I was a kid, my coach Abhishek Nayar has gotten me used to hitting 1000 balls a day.
Shubman Gill | GT captain: Looking at the wicket, 200-210 was par score but we dropped too many catches. Pitch was good, the odd one was stopping but I felt we batted well to get to the score we did. No concerns but our fielding could've been a lot better. We set a certain standard and dropping 3 sitters - we didn't deserve to win this one. Looking at it that way, best to have a game like this now than in the Qualifiers. I think rest and recover for a couple of days, travel back to Ahmedabad, see how the wicket is and then plan accordingly (for the next game).
23:30 Local Time, 18:00 GMT, 23:30 IST: Gujarat Titans' 5-match winning streak comes to an end and this loss means they stay in the 2nd position. They will attribute their loss tonight mainly to their catching and ground fielding. Four catches were dropped, none more important than Siraj dropping Finn Allen's sitter on 33. The New Zealand opener went on to make 93. Angkrish Raghuvanshi was dropped once, so was Cam Green and they both made fifties. 248 was always going to be a stiff target, but they started off well with Sai Sudharsan in particular looking in sublime touch. His injury, however, derailed the innings. Jos Buttler looked scratchy and took his time to get going, which put Shubman Gill under pressure. Both started to find the boundaries, but they had left themselves with too much to do. Eighty-five runs were needed for the last 5 overs and a superb 17th over from Sunil Narine left them with too much to do. Gill, Buttler and Sai Sudharsan all made fifties, but none were as intimidating as Finn Allen's 93. KKR stay 7th with 11 points, but they're now 2 points behind PBKS, who're placed 4th. Turning out to be a roller-coaster at the moment. With 10 matches remaining, 8 teams still have a chance to make it to the playoffs. Presentations are coming up shortly..
