Bjorn Fortuin (SA captain): [This must be somewhat a relief to you?] But closer than we wanted, to be honest. But we've learned to not take anything for granted in this game. A win's a win, and we did some good things today. But obviously a lot to work on going into that last game. [On the opening partnership] Yeah, they batted beautifully. They summed up conditions fairly quickly. Once they sort of led a platform for themselves, we just saw that natural talent come through. We've been seeing it, the entire comp, and Connor playing a nice knock today as well. So I'm very happy for them. [There were moments where you were a bit worried?] Yeah, there were definitely moments, but credit to the bowlers. I mean, I asked them to bowl hard overs, I asked them to bowl tough plans as well, and they stood up. Young Moxie (Mokoena) at the end, I thought he came through beautifully for the team. Kwena, Bosch, all the boys standing up as well. [Looking forward to that final on Sunday?] Yeah, we'll take things game by game, and obviously we've got a final coming up. But in saying that, coming into today's game, we weren't looking too far ahead. We knew today was going to be a massive challenge against a good team that had a lot to play for. So it's nice to get one over them. It's nice to get some positives going into the last game as well.

Gerhard Erasmus (Namibia Captain): [Where do you think you fell short today?] Yeah, I think it was some game of cricket firstly to give that to the public is amazing again. Yeah, I mean, it was a game of boundaries more today, I guess, and I don't know what the stats said. We might have outscored them, but it felt like, you know, we leaked some soft boundaries and then obviously through that back end of the innings we couldn't quite make the same as they did. [Where were some of the areas where you maybe felt just a little bit short?] Perhaps after that power play. I think that's probably the area in the game where you can slow it down with the ball. We didn't quite manage that until about over 14, 15. So yeah, it was amazing from my openers to put up a great stand and give us a shot, but we couldn't quite finish it off. [What is your message to your fans as you bow out?] Yeah, it's been incredible to serve them with good cricket again. To everyone that's been here, we want to thank them obviously. We want to see lots of people be here for our 50-over games as well, be it against the Proteas or in our other very important WCL games going forward. That's the thing we want to create as a brand of cricket they can be proud of and they want to come watch.

Lhuan-dre Pretorius | Player of the Match: [How do you feel?] Yeah, pretty good. We got the victory, and that's what we needed to head into Sunday. Before this game, we said we want to take it game by game, and we took it today as today, and then we knew the rest would take care of itself, and we'll take on Sunday as it comes. The hundred, Connor made it a lot easier for me at the start, and then I could just, when he lost his wicket, I could just take charge as the leader in the middle and then try and capitalise where I can. So yeah, fortunately it worked out. [How much momentum will you take from your 94, the hundred today into that Sunday final?] Yeah, as I said, last time T20 is a game of fine margins and high-risk cricket shots. So when you're in form, you have to take it, and can't take it lightly, and you have to take it for as long as you can and ride that wave as long as you can because it can change very quickly. [Did you speak to Klaasen today?] No, I didn't, but I just thought he sent me a message when I check my phone now. But yeah, I didn't. I just came with the same approach. Try get to that 15-ball mark and I knew the rest would take care of itself.

17:29 Local Time, 15:29 GMT, 20:59 IST: A gallant effort from Namibia but they fall short. The openers set them on their way with Jan Frylinck in terrific touch. He was helped by some poor bowling though as he feasted on the short balls. He was helped by Steenkamp who too played his part. The duo put on 119 in just inside 11 overs before the left-hander was dismissed. Gerhard Erasmus came on but couldn't quite replicate his heroics from yesterday with the bat. A blow to the forearm for Steenkamp sent him retired hurt and the equation at the end was too steep for Namibia. An excellent 19th over from Maphaka gave Nqobani Mokoena enough to defend and the job was done. At stages of the chase, it looked like Namibia would pull it off but South Africa held their nerve despite a poor day in the field. Stay tuned for the post-match stuff....
