Melbourne Renegades vs Adelaide Strikers, 35th Match, Big Bash League, 2017-18 - CommentaryMLR vs ADS, 35th Match, Big Bash League, 2017-18 - Commentary
Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars clash tomorrow in the battle of the not so heavyweights, so join us for that. Until then, ta-ta!
Colin Ingram's 36-ball 68 won the game and he's the Player of the Match
This was always going to be a tall chase on a slow wicket. Strikers win as a result, jump to the top spot and book themselves a home semifinal. It all comes down to Ingram's quickfire innings first and then Renegades' penchant for losing regular wickets. Stanlake thrilled with pace upfront, Siddle was disciplined in the middle overs and Rashid Khan wreaked havoc, again, with the mystery around his variations. Brad Hodge's 18-ball 30 was little too small and came a little too late.
23:05 Local Time, 12:05 GMT, 17:35 IST: Gee that was ugly scoring towards the end. Leg byes on no balls, byes off free hits, our scoring system took a toll and so did our existence. And yours truly was still lagging, much in awe after that tag-team fielding in the deep. Many apologies for the delay. We've caught up, now.
