Crawley 2/2: [On the team chat at the interval] We didn't discuss anything. We just, we didn't discuss anything during the team talk. Just go and bat your way every time, really. We don't discuss those sorts of things. Everyone's got the freedom to play how they want to play. And thankfully, a couple came out the screws in the middle there, we caught up, and got over the line. [On winning two in a row] Obviously, it was a tough loss the first game. They played really well against us. And tonight, against a side like that, they are a very strong side. And they were 2-0 coming into it. So, to beat them tonight is a big win for us. I'm surprised, yeah. I'm surprised how well the boys batted there. It was brilliant. And the boys at the end, they could have got a lot more. And then the guys clawed it back with the ball. So, we've won one there. It was a good one.

Zak Crawley | Sunrisers Leeds captain (1/2): [Thoughts on how the chase unfolded] Unbelievable game. So happy with the win. I feel like they batted really well, got an above-par score. And, we were confident. We got a good batting lineup, but we thought maybe one or two too many. But we got Mitch Marsh and Harry Brook in team, and we managed to get over the line. There were some sensational, easy for me to say, shots being played. [How did the conditions change?] I don't know what happened tonight, but the ball was just flying further. There were a lot of sixes. It was still an average wicket, we thought. Like, slower balls were gripping and the spinners were getting a bit of turn. But as soon as you got it in the air, it seemed to be flying tonight. I don't know if there was something in the air... there were a lot of sixes, and that helped us. [On his partnership with Marsh] I told him to keep going. I was trying to get him on strike, couldn't really get him on strike, and then managed to get a couple away. But, no, I was just telling him to keep swinging. I couldn't believe how hard he was hitting it. Off some of those good balls as well, that they were rolling. It was a phenomenal innings by him. I've never seen power like this, to be honest. I said to the umpires, I'm not sure I want to back up here. And he said he took a yard further back. We needed to get off to a quick start on a pitch like that, and thankfully we did.

Mitchell Marsh | Match Hero: [On his form] Yeah, it's been a good start. I thought that was a great win by the lads. We played on some very nice wickets, but nice to get another win. [On how he dealt with MSG's pace attack] Just try and play good cricket shots. They're a really good side, so it was a really good win for us. We didn't get off to a flyer in the powerplay. I thought they bowled really well, but we stuck at it. And I think partnerships are really key in run chases like that. And the partnership that I was able to have with Zak was awesome. He batted beautifully today. [Australian conditions helping you here?] Certainly growing up on fast, bouncy wickets. I think you always lean on your experience and having faced attacks like that around the world now. So, yeah, just really pleased with the win. I thought 180 (181), whatever they made, was going to be a tough chase, but we played really well. [What was the chat at the halfway stage?] We thought the wicket was a touch slower than the other day, certainly from some of the information we got from our bowling group. Thought they batted brilliantly to get that total. But it's a tough ground to defend. And as I said, that partnership with Zak was really key. [Did the surface get better?] I don't think it changed so much. I think you saw with their innings, once they got a partnership going, it was really hard to break it. Headingley is one of the best grounds in the world in my eyes. Once you're in, it feels quite small and you can try and clear the pockets as much as you can.

This is the third-highest successful run chase in the history of The Hundred Men's Competition, and they have made an absolute mockery of this target. To chase it down with 12 balls to spare against a bowling attack of this quality is a remarkable effort and a real statement of intent from Sunrisers. MSG kept things under control in the first 25 balls and also removed Ryan Rickelton early. But from that point on, Mitchell Marsh took complete control, producing another breathtaking knock. The big Australian led the charge with 63 off just 26 balls, while Zak Crawley overcame a watchful start to anchor the chase with an unbeaten 56 from 34 deliveries. The two added 92 runs off only 39 balls. The sixes kept coming, and after Marsh's dismissal, Harry Brook ensured there were no late hiccups, blasting an unbeaten 42 off just 17 deliveries, as Sunrisers Leeds got home with 12 balls remaining and ended MSG's unbeaten run in authoritative fashion.
