All four spots for the playoffs have been sealed. These two teams will face each other again in the Eliminator. But before that, the Tridents will face table-toppers Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final league match tomorrow. Until then, it's goodbye.
Green | Tridents captain: I'm tired. It's way too late. We've got a lot of depth down to Motie - what a game he had. He deserves all the credit he got tonight. He's been brilliant since he's come in (Descarte). He's showing his flexibility. We've used him up the order and he's grabbed the opportunity with both hands. I still don't think we've played our best cricket. There's a good opportunity tomorrow to keep learning. Need to rest, recuperate and keep growing and learning. Really grateful for everyone who stayed behind.
Powell | Tridents captain: That was our first objective (qualifying). Small margins. Fielding let us down. 150 on a wicket like that was a good score. Always nice to play at Kensington. Barbados is like my second home. Hopefully my team can find a few wins in the next few days. It's a case of trying to control different areas. A lot of the times the middle overs take care of themselves. With 17-20 in the last over, maybe we should've won, but these things happen. Both games (vs Tridents) came down to the last ball.
Motie | Player of the Match: All round performance by my team. In the last over a message was sent out for me to play all six deliveries. I've been doing a lot of work on my batting. Happy it's paying off now. We know how important this game was. Thanks to the crowd for coming out and supporting us. We know the pitch had a little for the spinners. Was trying to hit my areas and not bowl too fast. When you were bowling fast, it was skidding on.
01:00 Local Time, 05:00 GMT, 10:30 IST: Big celebrations in the crowd as Tridents prevail in a thriller. They were behind the rate for nearly the entirety of the chase, but Descarte's first T20 fifty ensured they didn't fall too far behind, and then Motie produced the finishing touches with 17 needed off the final over. The nerves got to Odean who bowled a couple of wides and also lost his length to get smashed down the ground off the second ball. A match to remember for Motie who was superb with the ball as well earlier on, returning with figures of 2/7.

Hunain Shah to Chris Green, out Caught by Keemo Paul!! Keemo Paul himself isn't sure if the catch is clean. Slower one well wide of off, Green advances, reaches out and slaps it to cover. It dies on the way to Paul who grabs it with both hands but it's very close to the ground as well. Only one angle available on replay. Third umpire decides that the fingers are underneath the ball, and Green will have to go. He doesn't look too happy. Has a word with the umpire but the decision is made. Hunain Shah to Chris Green, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
