Hardie to Oliver Peake, SIX, 19-year old Oliver Peake is a hero for the Gades, sensational, sensational finish here at the Optus - but should Hardie have kept going with his slower ones? He goes full and at the stumps, long leg was in position, but Peake backed himself to clear him - shuffles across, uses the pace on the ball and then nonchalantly swings it into the stands. The Gades erupt as they survive another banana skin, suddenly they're back big time into the tournament
19.5
Hardie to Oliver Peake, no run, Peake needs a boundary to win it now - short of a good length and into the wicket, rushed Peake on the pull once again and he's miscued it back at the bowler
19.4
Hardie to Oliver Peake, 2 runs, brilliant running from Peake and he steals a second run once again - slower ball into the pitch and Peake didn't get hold of the slog, the ball dropped down at the edge of the ring at mid-on and they ran hard - 4 needed off 2 balls

19.1
Hardie to Oliver Peake, 2 runs, has Peake ran himself OUT? Always wanted the second run and the throw came at his end - it was a good flat throw and Laurie Evans broke the stumps with the left-hander struggling, but the keeper took that extra second and that's helped him make his ground - NOT OUT - in by just a frame - was a slower ball and was slugged down to long-on
19
David Payne to Oliver Peake, 1 run, fuller length delivery on the pads, clipped over mid-wicket and Peake will keep strike - Gades need 10 from the last over

J Richardson to Oliver Peake, FOUR, lovely, Peake is finding the boundaries much to the annoyance of the Optus crowd - was the attempted slower ball from Richardson, turns out to be a loopy full-toss, Peake shuffles across, waits and then laps it over short fine for a boundary

16.3
David Payne to Oliver Peake, 1 run, no luck this time though and the Gades slip into trouble - the 3rd umpire has been called, but this looked like a good catch from Turner. Was a back of a length delivery from Payne, bowled into the pitch and Peake couldn't control the pull, hit slightly high on the bat and lobbed over towards mid-on - Turner back-tracked, kept his eyes on the ball and then completed a fine overhead catch as he tumbled backwards. But as he did so, did the ball touch the ground? It's clearly touched the ground and as per rules, it's NOT OUT as the fielder wasn't in control of it - the Optus crowd don't like it one bit and boos ring round along the ground - the two on-field umpires once again converge to have a chat, Mitch Marsh, the Perth Scorchers captain joins in - probably it's to decide if this would be given as a run or would it be a dead ball - did they cross before the catch was taken? Looks like they did and Peake will not just survive, he'll get a run as well - controversial moment at the Optus
