Wanindu Hasaranga to Shimron Hetmyer, no run, Wanindu Hasaranga has the last laugh! Brilliant piece of bowling from Hasaranga to outfox Hetmyer. Hang on! The replays come up and Hetmyer might have saved himself with his quick reaction! Was a 81kph googly on off. Hetmyer used his feet and tried to heave it across but the ball turned away and he got beaten on the outside edge. Kusal Mendis didn't make any mistake this time as he collected it and was quick to take the bails off. Hetmyer instinctively turned back after following through with the shot and plonked his bat inside the crease. Has he been able to put his bat down inside the crease before the bails came off? The replays show that he is safe. Kusal Mendis collected it a bit away from his body and had to stretch himself to take the bails off and that extra split second worked in the southpaw's favour. Mendis is having an animated chat with the umpire. He looks really angry. Don't quite understand the animated reaction from him. Hetmyer survives. The keeper definitely disturbed the stumps. The bail did move but it's the conventional wooden bails in use here and not the zing bails that light up. So we went back to the good old saying of is the bail fully off the groove? The replays weren't conclusive enough for the third ump to say the bail was fully off before Hetmyer grounded his bat. The dark blue Sri Lankan jersey in the background to that black bail didn't help either. Had zing bails been in place, the batter might have well been out. Hety actually walked off the field before the decision was made. The moment he saw the replay not being conclusive enough he walked straight back into the field, again before the decision was made and the ump said not out, much to the disappointment of the Sri Lankan fielders
