Born in Kimberly, Abrahams is an attacking wicket-keeper batsman and a fantastic prospect for South Africa. Having made his debut for Griqualand West in 2013/14 season, he is a steady performer in the domestic cricket.

Abrahams has plied his trade with three clubs and is currently settled with Northern Cape. 2014/15 was his most successful year when he he received the 'Most Improved Player of the Year' award from his club. He is looking to kick-on and eager to break into franchise cricket. As a result, he has traveled to the UK for a stint in county cricket with Sussex division.
