The grandson of William Rhodes, who played most of his cricket with Nottinghamshire and the son of Steve Rhodes, former England wicket-keeper batsman and currently Worcestershire's director of cricket, George has had huge boots to fill.

A right-handed batsman who can also bowl useful off-breaks, George has risen from the age-group levels of cricket in Worcestershire, having represented them right from the age of 13. Rhodes did his first-class as well as List A debut during the summer of 2016, but has not been able to churn in performances on a consistent level. However, he still remains part of Worcestershire plans going into the future.
