With nearly 200 wickets in his first-class career, Sean Jamison is a fast-arm pacer who made his debut against Eastern Province. Although, Jamison bagged only two wickets on his first-class debut, Gauteng managed to beat Eastern Province by 6 wickets. The speedster was slotted in to bat at number 11 but due to the prolific effort by his other team-mates in that match, Jamison didn't really get a chance to come out at bat on his first-class debut.

He's one of the strike bowlers for Gauteng and he was also leading wicket-taker in the 2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup for Gauteng (32 wickets in 8 matches). Jamison's last imposing spell came against South Western Districts where he claimed figures of 6 for 92 and 5 of them came in the first innings. However, the match ended in a draw, hence Jamison wasn't that satisfied with the effort. At the age of 28, Jamison is one of the most skilled players in South African domestic cricket with a decent first-class record to boast about.
