Karan Patel is an Indian domestic cricketer playing for the state of Gujarat. He made his debut in the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy at the age of 22 and turned out middling performances in the opportunities he got, with the bat and the ball. He is a skillful off-break bowler with his limitations but intelligent variations in terms of trajectory and pace. He is also a fairly reliable lower-order batsman, but hasn't turned out any breakthrough performance or a string of performances to guarantee his place in the side. With age on his side, and a multi-dimensional skill set, Karan Patel is certainly one to watch out for in the years to come, particularly for the IPL franchises.
