A product of Sydney grade cricket, Arjun started off there at the age of 15 and went onto represent New South Wales in the 2016-17 season. An off-spinner and a dashing lower-middle order batsman, Arjun debuted for the Sydney Thunder in the same season as well and played in three games. Though he went wicket-less, the huge amount of experience would have done him a world of good.

He renewed his contract with Sydney Thunder unit and also played against the Lankans in February as he was a part of the Prime Minister's XI. He scored 13 runs down the order and picked up the wicket of Niroshan Dickwella with the ball.

He is a crafty bowler who can spin the ball both ways and is a value addition to the Sydney Thunder team for the 2017-18 season of BBL. He picked up 9 wickets in BBL 07 at an average of 22.77 before being banned for breaching a protocol that took place during a test conducted on him after his action was reported by match officials during a BBL game against the Hurricanes. The ban will last for at least 90 days.
