Already a recipient of 5 First-Class and 3 List A matches under his belt, Siddarth Desai is a left-arm spinner and left-hand batsman lower down the order from Gujarat. He has the knack of breaking partnerships and in his debut Ranji game, Siddarth could't have asked for a better start to his FC career. 3 wickets in the first innings, followed by a 6-wicket haul in the second essay saw the youngster unleashing his potential at the big stage.

Thus far, he has snapped 29 wickets in 10 innings for Gujarat. He was selected for the India U-19 team after such noteworthy performances and recently hit headlines for his rip-roaring spell of 6/24 against UAE in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup.
