The younger brother of Paul, Josh has come through Durham's age group cricket. He had played first-class cricket even before representing the England Under-19 team. The debut came in 2016 against a touring Sri Lanka A side.

Josh, like his elder brother, is a right-arm pacer and more than handy lower-order left-hand bat. He has been stringing in some impressive performances for Durham's Second XI and is only a matter of time before he takes the next step.
