Son of renowned broadcaster and journalist, Christopher Martin-Jenkins, Robin Martin-Jenkins, provided promise with some fine all-round performances but fell short of making it to the international scene. He was a lively pacer, who could double up as a decent batsman, and retired from all forms of competitive cricket in 2010 to pursue a career in teaching.
