Shahid Ilyas is a right-arm medium pacer from Islamabad and is also a handy lower batsman who represented his national side during the 2012 U 19 World Cup in Australia. He has been part of the U - 19 during 2011-12 but failed to prove his consistency at the higher level. He plays domestic cricket for Islamabad and a few experts in Pakistan believe, with age still on his side, he will have a bright future as a bowler (as of August 2015).
