Tharanga Lakshitha is a Sri Lankan first-class cricketer, a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pacer. He made his first-class debut in the 1999-2000 season. His inclusion in the domestic squad came after an impressive performance, taking 27 wickets at 15.07 for Bloomfield Sports Club Under 23 side. He also performed creditably during a solitary unofficial Test for Sri Lanka A against Pakistan A. He has also played for the Chilaw Marians Cricket Club, Matara Sports Club and Moors Sports Club, Ruhuna teams. He has scored over 1500 runs and taken over 250 wickets in first-class cricket.
