Mohammad Aftab hails from Lahore and is a left-arm medium pacer who has the rare ability to swing the ball both ways. He has enjoyed phenomenal success in the under - 19 team so far and was also the key to Pakistan U - 19's success during their England tour in 2013.

He and Zia-ul-Haq enjoyed a purple patch during the tour and as a result Pakistan U - 19 team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament that involved Bangladesh along with the hosts.

Aftab represents Lahore Lions in the domestic circuit and like every other fast bowler, he likes bowling with the new ball.A few Pakistani fans compare his bowling style to Mohammad Amir, who also originates from the same state.
