Andrew Tye to Daniel Sams, out Lbw!! Hat-trick for AJ Tye! How often have we seen him taking hat-tricks in the shortest format. Very often, isn't it? He can now be called a "hat-trick specialist." It's a length delivery on middle and leg, Sams plays across the line only to get rapped on the pads. Tye goes up in an appeal and the umpire raises his dreaded finger. Tye is migthy pleased with that and so are his team mates. Daniel Sams lbw b Andrew Tye 0(1)

Andrew Tye to O'Keefe, out Caught by Jhye Richardson!! Two in two for AJ Tye! He's on a hat-trick now. Has taken a few in the past too. Bangs it short on off, O'Keefe goes for the pull and ends up getting a top edge to the man at deep square leg. It's Jhye Richardson who settles under it to take the catch. O'Keefe c Jhye Richardson b Andrew Tye 23(18) [4s-1]

W
Andrew Tye to Abbott, out Caught by Johnson!! That brings an end to the 48-run stand for the eighth wicket. Abbott plays across the line and ends up getting a top edge. The ball balloons up in the air towards cover-point where Mitchell Johnson makes no mistake. Handy knock by the lower order batsman though. Abbott c Johnson b Andrew Tye 23(13) [4s-3]

Jhye Richardson to Abbott, FOUR, that surprised the batsman. It was short on off, Abbott hops and guides the short one past the fielder at short third man. Good improvisation by Abbott on that occasion
16.1
4
Andrew Tye to O'Keefe, FOUR, easy pickings for the batsman! A low full toss on the pads, O'Keefe simply tickles it down to the fine leg fence. Fielder at short fine-leg was very square to reach anywhere close to this
15
4
Willey to Abbott, FOUR, smacked down the ground! Couldn't make much out of the free-hit but makes sure to get a boundary on the very next delivery. Willey offers a length delivery and Abbott smacks it past the bowler to add four runs to his tally
14
4
Johnson to Abbott, FOUR, short and punished! It's a short one with really no pace in it. Abbott goes back and cracks it through the gap at cover-point. Good shot to get off the mark

W
Johnson to Nevill, out Bowled!! Another one bites the dust. Seven down are the Sixers now. Two wickets in the over and Johnson is on a roll. Bowls a slower delivery and gets his man. Nevill walks out to drive but ends up getting an inside edge onto the sticks. He was looking good. Should have waited for a while before taking on Johnson. Scorchers have got Sixers by the scruff of their neck, nevertheless. Can someone brave them out of trouble? Nevill b Johnson 18(20) [4s-2]
13.2
W
Johnson to Maddinson, out Caught by Andrew Tye!! So, the dropped catch doesn't cost much. It's a short delivery on middle, Maddinson goes for a pull but Tye who's stationed at deep fine-leg does an extremely good job to hold onto this catch. Moves to his right, keeps his eyes on the ball and takes it just at the boundary ropes. Well-judged catch by the pacer in the deep. Maddinson c Andrew Tye b Johnson 31(33) [4s-2]
13.1
Johnson to Maddinson, no run, is that a dropped catch? Yes, it is. It was full on off, Maddinson went for an uppish drive towards mid-off where the fielder spilled it out. Was a difficult chance, but should have been taken

4
Willey to Nevill, FOUR, that's cheeky! It's a short delivery on off, Nevill waits for it and guides it very fine. The man at third man is very square as the ball rolls down to the boundary ropes. That was really a good shot by Nevill
11.2
4
Willey to Nevill, FOUR, boundary through mid-wicket. Full in length on middle and leg, Nevill does well to find the gap at mid-wicket. The fielder from deep square leg tried to stop it but the ball won the race
6.5
W
Willey to Botha, out Bowled!! That's a beaut! You can't do much as a batsman. Willey is pumped up and why not! It was a cross-seam delivery on a goodish length. Botha stayed back in his crease and thought that he had covered his line. But, he got beaten as the ball jagged away after pitching. Goes past the outside edge and knocks down the off-pole. 46/5 now! Botha b Willey 4(6)

W
Andrew Tye to Billings, out Caught by Turner!! The Sixers are four down and are in all sorts of trouble. Billings goes back without troubling the scorers. A pacy shortish ball and Billings got into an awkward position after walking down the track. He tried to turn it through the on-side and the ball popped up off the top portion of the bat. Turner at mid-wicket didn't have to move an inch to gobble that. Billings c Turner b Andrew Tye 0(1)

W
Willey to Henriques, out Caught by Josh Inglis!! The keeper claims a catch. The umpires converge and decide to go upstairs. Soft signal is OUT. Looks very close. Did it settle into the left glove? Looks like a clean catch to me. What does the TV umpire reckon? The zoomer is used and that always confuses the human eye. OUT flashed on the giant screen. It was a short ball down the leg-side and Henriques moved across to pull it fine. He got it off the glove and Josh Inglis did a superb work to move to his left, put in the dive and held onto it. There wasn't substantial evidence for the TV umpire to overturn the soft signal. Henriques c Josh Inglis b Willey 1(3)
4.3
4
Willey to Maddinson, FOUR, shot! Maddinson picks the length early, gets into a good position and swivel-pulls it behind square leg. Superb timing and there is no one to stop that
3.5
4
Jhye Richardson to Maddinson, FOUR, cracking shot! Sees the width outside off on this fullish ball and laces hard at it. The ball bounces over the cover fielder and went into the fence in a jiffy
3.2
W
Jhye Richardson to Roy, out Caught by Voges!! What a comeback from Richardson. His second wicket. The slower ball did the trick. It was bowled at 113kph; Roy was forward and across to flick it. Plays it way too early and spoons a straightforward catch to mid-wicket. Voges won't drop those. Roy c Voges b Jhye Richardson 19(11) [4s-3]
3.1
4
Jhye Richardson to Roy, FOUR, wow! He made it look so easy. In-angler slightly overpitched, Roy with a small back-lift punches it over mid-on. No followthrough as well. Stand and deliver!
2.1
4
Johnson to Roy, FOUR, throws the bat does Roy and throws hard. Length ball way outside off and Roy reaches out for it. Flashes his bat at it and gets a thick outside edge that flies over backward point. Third man can't cut it off
2
W
Jhye Richardson to Daniel Hughes, out Bowled!! Knocked him over! Richardson gets the breakthrough. Hughes looks to play across the line and perishes. It was a full ball over 140ks and Hughes with limited feet movement looked to whip it through the on-side. Gets beaten on the inside edge and the ball crashes into the stumps. Daniel Hughes b Jhye Richardson 7(7) [4s-1]
1.3
4
Jhye Richardson to Daniel Hughes, FOUR, top shot! Wasn't that short, but Hughes knows exactly what he's doing. Stays back in the crease and swivels around to pull it behind square leg. There is no protection. Raced away into the fence
0.4
4
Johnson to Roy, FOUR, first boundary of the day! Not where Roy intended to go, but got the desired result. Length ball from Johnson and Roy puts on his dancing shoes. Tries to swing across the line and ends up slicing it over the cover region off the outside half of the bat. Well over the infield and there is no one to stop that
