Obed McCoy to Devcich, FOUR, finally connects one. This was a good length delivery bowled outside off, Devcich reaches for it and smashes it over cover. On a bounce and into the fence. The bat twisted a bit but there was enough power to take it all the way

Derval Green to Smith, SIX, shot! Are we gonna need a new ball? Yes. This one is out of the park. Has been a common scene in this league. The ball disappearing in the woods. This was short enough and Smith was quick enough to camp and club it over mid-wicket. Over the roof and into the trees

Kavem Hodge to Devcich, SIX, that dropped catch has already cost them 10 runs. How many more? This was a floater around off, a touch full and Devcich went down on his knee. Connected his slog and cleared the long-on fence with utter ease

Derval Green to Devcich, no run, dropped! The keeper has put down a regulation catch and the bowler is not happy one bit. It was a short delivery outside off, touch of carry on it. Devcich tried to cut it away but got a regulation nick. However, the keeper fails to cling on even after getting his gloves to it. Got into an awkward position as he attempted the catch

Kavem Hodge to Charles, out Caught by F Allen!! Goes after the bowler once again. Gets it right in the slot and goes at it with hard hands. Enough elevation on the shot but not the distance as it came off the toe-end. Allen from deep mid-wicket runs to his left, steadies under the skier and takes it. Kavem Hodge to Charles, SIX, just beats the man at long-on. Receives a shortish delivery around middle and leg, Charles rocks back and pummels it towards long-on. The fielder near the fence, gets his right hand to it, but fails to cling on to it. Just parries it over the boundary ropes as Toronto Nationals get their first six of the match

Derval Green to Kamran Akmal, out Bowled!! Peach of a delivery, that was. An ideal delivery for a pacer. Short of a length around off, nips away and squares him up. Akmal tries his best to get some bat on it, but the ball jags away and hits the top of off. Jet lag perhaps, reckons the commentator on air. No sort of momentum in that short knock.
