Obed McCoy to Sammy, SIX, the bouncer goes wrong. McCoy can't bowl it short given that he's been warned - so he dishes out a sitter around the tummy. Sammy jumps up, and swings in muscling it way into deep mid-wicket
19.1
6
Obed McCoy to Sammy, SIX, picks, top-edges and dispatches. With fine leg inside, Sammy swivels, swings a heave off his hips and it's strong enough to fly over
19
4
Derval Green to Smith, FOUR, finds his timing, finds the boundary. And boy, Toronto needed this. Smith clears out his front leg, lofts it in flicking it to split cow corner
18.2
F
Derval Green to Smith, 1 run, another mistimed edge. Another one falling where nobody is. Smith tries going leg-sided after making room, but ends up ballooning it over point. It's also his fifty - becoming the first player in the league to get two of them
18
Obed McCoy to Sammy, 1 run, streches in an attempted slice, ends up with an outside edge - into no man's land
17.1
4
Obed McCoy to Smith, FOUR, he'll gladly take these outside edges. Smith shuffles, wants to go over mid-wicket with his airy flick, but the outside half takes it over short third
16.5
6
Rutherford to Smith, SIX, just a punch. He connects it right for a change, showing the full bat face in tonking it into the sightscreen
16.3
Rutherford to Smith, 2 wides, down leg, the keeper fumbles and his recovery throw is no good either to stop another extra
15.5
Justin Greaves to Smith, 1 run, put down. Well who's still keeping count? Smith tries smoking one over long-on, gets undone by the lack of pace and skews it high up into the sky. Bramble, the keeper, circles, keeps circling, and makes a real mess
13.4
W
Justin Greaves to Nitish Kumar, out Caught by Kavem Hodge!! Short-wide, meant to be put away. Kumar tries, flaying a cut, but neither keeps it down, nor tries to go over. Toe-ends it uppishly to backward point's left, who does well to anticipate, tumble and pouch. Nitish Kumar c Kavem Hodge b Justin Greaves 1(4)
12.5
W
Rutherford to Pollard, out Caught by K Pierre!! Floated up off-cutter, but way too wide to be chasing with flat feet. Pollard does, throws his hands out looking to go inside-out over the covers, but ends up skewing out a fat outside edge, flying down sweeper's throat in the deep. Pollard c K Pierre b Rutherford 8(9) [4s-1]

4
Obed McCoy to Smith, FOUR, he's toying around with the gaps here. Waits for the wide yorker, and does with a fully-opened stance and squeezes a slice behind point
11.4
4
Obed McCoy to Pollard, FOUR, too straight. Pollard uses all of it, uses the pace too in glancing it very fine. Nothing short fine could've done with it
9.4
W
Justin Greaves to Devcich, out Caught by K Pierre!! Devcich finally runs out of chances. Windies third time lucky as they finally manage to pull off a catch. Short delivery, well outside off and Devcich attempts the aerial cut. Skews it up towards deep point where Pierre manages to cling on to it. Cups it running to his left and sends the Kiwi batsman back to the hut. Devcich c K Pierre b Justin Greaves 21(26) [4s-2 6s-1]
9.2
4
Justin Greaves to Smith, FOUR, helicopter-flick! An over-pitched delivery around off, Smith waits for it patiently and at the last moment swings his bat like a sword. Connects it to perfection and finds the square leg fence
8
Justin Greaves to Devcich, no run, dropped! Dropped again. Devcich is riding his luck today. This was bowled on the pads and Devcich went for an aerial flick. Springer at short fine leg had an easy chance but fails to convert the opportunity.
7.1
4
Justin Greaves to Smith, FOUR, another typical Smith flick. Fullish delivery around middle and leg, Smith flicks it through square leg and gets four more
6.4
4
Obed McCoy to Devcich, FOUR, finally connects one. This was a good length delivery bowled outside off, Devcich reaches for it and smashes it over cover. On a bounce and into the fence. The bat twisted a bit but there was enough power to take it all the way
5.3
6
Derval Green to Smith, SIX, shot! Are we gonna need a new ball? Yes. This one is out of the park. Has been a common scene in this league. The ball disappearing in the woods. This was short enough and Smith was quick enough to camp and club it over mid-wicket. Over the roof and into the trees
4.4
6
Kavem Hodge to Devcich, SIX, that dropped catch has already cost them 10 runs. How many more? This was a floater around off, a touch full and Devcich went down on his knee. Connected his slog and cleared the long-on fence with utter ease
4.3
4
Kavem Hodge to Devcich, FOUR, smacked away! Flatter around middle and leg, Devcich whips it away through mid-wicket and gets a boundary
4
Derval Green to Devcich, no run, dropped! The keeper has put down a regulation catch and the bowler is not happy one bit. It was a short delivery outside off, touch of carry on it. Devcich tried to cut it away but got a regulation nick. However, the keeper fails to cling on even after getting his gloves to it. Got into an awkward position as he attempted the catch
2.3
W
Kavem Hodge to Charles, out Caught by F Allen!! Goes after the bowler once again. Gets it right in the slot and goes at it with hard hands. Enough elevation on the shot but not the distance as it came off the toe-end. Allen from deep mid-wicket runs to his left, steadies under the skier and takes it. Both openers are back to the hut without doing much damage. Charles c F Allen b Kavem Hodge 8(11) [6s-1]
2.2
6
Kavem Hodge to Charles, SIX, just beats the man at long-on. Receives a shortish delivery around middle and leg, Charles rocks back and pummels it towards long-on. The fielder near the fence, gets his right hand to it, but fails to cling on to it. Just parries it over the boundary ropes as Toronto Nationals get their first six of the match

W
Derval Green to Kamran Akmal, out Bowled!! Peach of a delivery, that was. An ideal delivery for a pacer. Short of a length around off, nips away and squares him up. Akmal tries his best to get some bat on it, but the ball jags away and hits the top of off. Jet lag perhaps, reckons the commentator on air. No sort of momentum in that short knock. Kamran Akmal b Derval Green 1(4)
