Krejza to Maharoof, SIX, sensational finish from Maharoof! A boundary followed by this huge hit over long-on. Charged down the track, getting to the pitch and what he did well here was not to overhit the ball. Just went through the line and timed the loft really well. Comfortably over the fielder in the deep

Krejza to Maharoof, FOUR, not off the middle again but he has found the gap this time and fetches himself a boundary. Was quite full from Krejza and Maharoof dragged it off the inside half, splitting deep mid-wicket and long-on with precision

McKay to Vaas, out Bowled!! Gone this time! Should have had him previous ball but McKay won't complain. Got this to jag back in a touch from a good length and Vaas went driving by leaving a big gap between bat and pad. Sees the zing bails lighting up behind him. Excellent final over for McKay. Vaas b McKay 4(3) [4s-1]

4
Krejza to Vaas, FOUR, loose ball, sprayed well down leg and Vaas plays the paddle sweep, middling it really well. Gets it away very fine down the leg-side

Krejza to A Mendis, out Stumped!! Smart from Krejza! Saw Mendis giving the charge early and fired this wider outside off, shortening the length as well. Skidded through off the deck and although Mendis tried to get back instantly, Haddin was a fraction too quick, whipping off the bails in a flash. They did go upstairs to have a check but Mendis knew straightaway and the replays confirm that. A Mendis st Haddin b Krejza 17(18) [4s-2]

Hodge to Senanayake, out Caught by Laughlin!! Another superb catch from Laughlin. Had to cover more ground this time from long-on than in the previous catch but manages to do so with aplomb. Makes it look really easy. The length was dragged back just a fraction by Hodge on this occasion, Senanayake didn't quite get hold of the slog as he would have liked to, thereby getting only height on the shot. Senanayake c Laughlin b Hodge 13(7) [4s-1 6s-1]

Hodge to Senanayake, FOUR, more runs! Flatter and outside off, slightly short and Senanayake late-cuts this past the short third man fielder who was slow to get down

Hodge to Senanayake, SIX, has he got the distance? Yes, he has! Just clears long-on! Down the pitch went Senanayake to get to the pitch of this one and wristed it away over the ropes. For a moment, the man near the ropes thought he was in business. Not to be

Laughlin to A Mendis, FOUR, just as I was saying that he isn't pitching them up, he gives on in the slot. Knuckle ball but Mendis charged down early and went through with the loft, clearing mid-off easily
12.4
4
Hodge to A Mendis, FOUR, chance goes down! Went really low and wide of Haddin, and races away fine to the third man fence. This didn't spin as Mendis played for the turn, thereby playing the wrong line. Got an edge but will pick up a boundary

Hodge to Chandana, out Caught&Bowled!! Soft dismissal! Hodge gets a wicket to his name, he'll love that. Doesn't happen too often. Floated this up to invite the big shot and Chandana wanted to loft it down the ground. Probable cue-ended this a fraction and hit it straight back at Hodge who took the catch quite well. SL losing some steam here in these middle overs. Chandana c and b Hodge 5(5)

Krejza to Kapugedera, out Caught by Laughlin!! Excellent catch near the fence. It's Laughlin who runs across to his right from long-on to take a sharp running take. Brave bowling from Krejza, tossed this up and kept it wider outside off. Tempted Kapugedera into the big shot but he had to really fetch it and in the process, ended up hitting it flat with not much elevation. Still needed some catching though, and Laughlin did just that. Kapugedera c Laughlin b Krejza 28(18) [4s-3 6s-1]

Cosgrove to Romesh Kaluwitharana, out Lbw!! Kaluwitharana isn't happy with the decision, points to his thigh to show how high it was. He is right I reckon. Missed this nip-backer from Cosgrove to get rapped on the back leg. Did crouch a fraction but getting hit on the thigh does mean an issue of height. Anyways, the umpire was quick to raise his finger on this one and Kaluwitharana has to after playing another typical cameo. Romesh Kaluwitharana lbw b Cosgrove 30(26) [4s-5]

4
Cosgrove to Kapugedera, FOUR, finesse this time! Shorter length but a hint of width for Kapugedera who uses the pace on offer by opening the bat face late. Beats the diving short third man fielder
10.2
4
Cosgrove to Kapugedera, FOUR, pure class! Overpitched from Cosgrove this time and in the driving zone. Kapugedera leans into the stroke and creams it through the covers. Sweeper was squarer and had no chance to cut it off
10.1
4
Cosgrove to Kapugedera, FOUR, starts with a loose ball, fed on the pads and Kapugedera tickles it very fine down the leg-side. No chance for short fine leg

4
Reardon to Romesh Kaluwitharana, leg byes, FOUR, junk stuff from Reardon. Went for the yorker and ended up spraying it on leg, it zooms away after kissing Kaluwitharana's pads to the fine leg fence
7
4
Laughlin to Romesh Kaluwitharana, FOUR, Kaluwitharana on the move. Back-to-back fours for him. Gets across and whips it away behind square. Splits the gap magnificently

Laughlin to Romesh Kaluwitharana, FOUR, edged and four. Fortuitous from Kaluwitharana, going hard on the cut and the outside edge flies through the vacant slip cordon

Doherty to Atapattu, out Bowled!! Doherty retaliates. Just like he did in his last over after getting hit for a boundary. Atapattu plays this non-turner down the wrong line and hears the death rattle. Atapattu b Doherty 14(10) [4s-2]
5.3
4
Doherty to Atapattu, FOUR, supreme touch from Atapattu. Fired quick and straight, Atapattu makes room and thrashes it between cover and extra cover
4.3
4
McKay to Atapattu, FOUR, misfield and four. Atapattu slices the cut to point, the fielder makes a mess..

Doherty to Dilshan, out Lbw!! Plumb. One shot too many for Dilshan. Looks to do an encore, Doherty keeps it flat and straight. The batsman misses and gets pinned on the pad dead in front of middle. Up goes the umpire's finger. Dilshan lbw b Doherty 18(14) [4s-4]
3.3
4
Doherty to Dilshan, FOUR, so inventive from Dilshan. He's known for this. Gets low, changes his grip and reverse-sweeps it over point
3.2
4
Doherty to Dilshan, FOUR, Dilshan joins the party. Seizes onto a long hop and hammers it over mid-wicket
2.4
4
McKay to Romesh Kaluwitharana, FOUR, hat-trick of boundaries for Kaluwitharana. McKay keeps dishing it fuller outside off, Kaluwitharana with minimal effort times it off the meat to the right of the cover fielder. It just sped away off the bat
2.3
4
McKay to Romesh Kaluwitharana, FOUR, now some fierce slap. Overpitched just outside off, Kaluwitharana reaches out and plays a scorching drive through extra cover
2.2
4
McKay to Romesh Kaluwitharana, FOUR, the famous "Kalu Slash", throwing his bat at this widish delivery and elevates it over short third man
2
4
Doherty to Dilshan, FOUR, slow and short outside off, Dilshan cuts it away through cover

McKay to Dilshan, FOUR, that's the perfect Dilscoop! How can Dilshan not unfurl one of those when he is at the crease, right? This is fuller and he premeditated the shuffle and connected very late, getting it away finer down the leg-side. McKay for a moment thought it was LBW but nope, the Lankan legend had played that trick of his one more time
