Jordan to Fazalhaq Farooqi, out Fazalhaq Farooqi Run Out!! Now tries the run and it's a big run out! Never a single there but Farooqi had to go for it to get Tahir back on strike. A near-yorker from Jordan, jammed to backward point who was a few yards up to cut off the run. He stops and throws it to Chris Lynn who then throws it towards Jordan. Farooqi was never making it to the other end, not even in the frame eventually. Emirates end on 139! Not the score they were looking for, that's for sure. Fazalhaq Farooqi run out (Chris Lynn/Jordan) 0(4)

Jordan to Dwayne Bravo, out Caught by Drakes!! Up in the air but not far enough! Drakes takes an easy catch at sweeper cover! Short of a length delivery, Bravo tries to go up over cover but has gotten the connection horribly wrong. Slices it a bit and this is right into the nighy sky. Drakes is as cool as ever in the deep pouching this with nonchalance. Dwayne Bravo c Drakes b Jordan 3(8)

Drakes to Tahir, FOUR, almost carries to third man! Ahmed was stationed very fine at third man and he did the brave thing by going for the catch. This was always dipping on him, it bounces in front and sneaks through. Handy runs for the Emirates. Was a wild slash from Tahir and he got a thick edge that went fine

4
Wiese to Tahir, FOUR, how about that for a start from Tahir! Bends low and ramps this short ball back over the keeper's head. Some swagger to do this straightaway and he gets his side precious runs. Wiese is amused
17.4
W
Wiese to Boult, out Caught by James Vince!! Wickets continue to tumble for the Emirates! Boult tries to go downtown with another flat-batted hit, had gotten lucky earlier but not this time. Wiese bowls it hard into the surface and the result is a big miscue that's only as far as mid-off. Dwayne Bravo is being left stranded here. Boult c James Vince b Wiese 1(6)
17.2
Wiese to Boult, no run, Wiese puts down an easy return catch! Well they aren't actually easy but still, you expect Wiese to take these. Surprised Boult with a slower ball into the surface and this was chipped right back at the all-rounder. Wiese was in his followthrough and was probably surprised as the ball came right at him. Hit him on the wrist and deflected onto the body being falling onto the track
17.1
Wiese to Boult, no run, back of a length outside off, Boult makes room to cut but is beaten
16.4
W
Drakes to Thompson, out Caught by Chris Lynn!! It's a procession out there now! Thompson the latest casualty. Looks to fend at one that rears up from a good length, took his eyes off the ball way too early and pops an easy catch to backward point who was more in a gully position. Emirates are imploding big time here. Thompson c Chris Lynn b Drakes 1(4)

Jordan to Najibullah, out Caught by Tom Banton!! Zadran falls! One of the weirdest T20 innings you'll ever see! Not one that can be explained. Never looked in, looked way too tentative and now plays a nothing shot to get out. Short ball, well-directed and he is in between ducking and pulling, thereby scooping it straight up over the keeper. Banton treks back well with his back to the ball and takes the skier with a lot of calm. Superbly done. It's an innings Zadran would like to forget. Najibullah c Tom Banton b Jordan 1(12)

Rehan Ahmed to Pollard, out Caught by Drakes!! Ahmed has the last laugh again! Got belted by Pooran but took him out, and now takes out Pollard after the Emirates skipper had just hit successive sixes. Another drag-down, there to be hit but Pollard is a tad off-balance as he pulls this away. Was also the leg-break and it meant that he couldn't middle this properly. PIcks out deep mid-wicket with precision. The matchup eventually works in GIants favour. Pollard c Drakes b Rehan Ahmed 19(7) [4s-1 6s-2]

6
Rehan Ahmed to Pollard, SIX, 2 in 2 for Pollard now! Another floaty delivery from Ahmed, in the arc and this has been slog swept with power. Easily over deep mid-wicket
14.1
6
Rehan Ahmed to Pollard, SIX, that typical Pollard chip and it's easily cleared long-on. This is a big matchup as he generally isn't very strong against leggies, especially early on. But he is in form at the moment and hence, is quite confident. Tossed up nicely by Ahmed, in the arc and Polly does the rest
13.1
4
Sanchit Sharma to Pollard, FOUR, up and over! Mid-off up and Pollard goes over extra cover with the loft. Sweeper tries to get across with a slide, Drakes it is, but he can't palm it away in time
12.3
W
Rehan Ahmed to Pooran, out Caught by Hetmyer!! Change of angle does the trick for Ahmed! A juicy long-hop though, googly, Pooran pulls and finds Hetmyer at deep mid-wicket with precision. He can't believe what he has done here. Was looking in ominous touch and looking good for plenty more. But that will have to be for another day. Yet again, Giants have picked up a big wicket at the most apt moment. Pooran c Hetmyer b Rehan Ahmed 42(29) [4s-3 6s-3]

4
Rehan Ahmed to Pooran, FOUR, Ahmed is feeling the heat bowling to Pooran, dishes out another poor ball well down leg, it's short too and Pooran half-pulls it past the diving short fine leg fielder
11.5
4
Jordan to Pooran, FOUR, streaky runs but Pooran and Emirates won't care. Flashes hard at this one but there isn't much room and he gets a thick outside edge. Third man is quite square and this races away to the fence
11.2
W
Jordan to Muhammad Waseem, out Bowled!! Jordan breaks the partnership! Looks like Waseem was expecting a slower ball, but this was Jordan's stock pace in the high 140s, and it also skids off the deck, rushing Waseem completely. He was backing away bit, exposing all stumps and was trying to access the off-side with the cut shot. Not to be. Just when he was starting to open up, he's been nipped out. A timely breakthrough for the Giants. Muhammad Waseem b Jordan 29(25) [4s-2 6s-2]

4
Sanchit Sharma to Muhammad Waseem, FOUR, bad ball and Waseem puts it away! Sharma feeds this down leg and it's been clipped away past short fine leg. Too easy
10.1
Sanchit Sharma to Pooran, 1 run, angling in on leg stump, Pooran tucks it away past mid-wicket
9.2
6
Wiese to Muhammad Waseem, SIX, this is a MASSIVE hit! Picks the slower ball early, clears his front leg and goes boom over wide long-on. Waseem is starting to find his range now after a scratchy start
9
6
Rehan Ahmed to Pooran, SIX, third six of the over! Emirates are roaring back now and Ahmed is bearing the brunt of it. Pooran expects the googly now, steps out and goes with the turn, lofting easily over long-off. All the way!
8.3
6
Rehan Ahmed to Pooran, SIX, Ahmed is being taken apart here! Not the right line this, leg-lined and full to the left-hander with the ball turning into Pooran. He takes full toll, slog-sweeping merrily over deep square leg
8.1
6
Rehan Ahmed to Muhammad Waseem, SIX, finally, Waseem gets some respite! In the arc, and he doesn't miss out. Launches this over deep mid-wicket with a full-blooded bat swing on the slog sweep
7.3
Sanchit Sharma to Muhammad Waseem, no run, dropped! Sharp chance but you expect these to be taken at this level. Short and wide, Waseem cuts hard but can't keep it down, straight to backward point where the catch is put down. Could be a costly miss this
6.3
6
Rehan Ahmed to Pooran, SIX, just clears Jordan at long-on! Pooran won't back off against the leggie, that's his matchup and this was in the slot too. Went for the slog sweep and although he didn't get hold of it properly, still had the power to just about get the maximum
4.4
4
Jordan to Pooran, FOUR, cracking shot! Just a hint of width on this hard length delivery and Pooran rises on his toes to play a delightful back foot punch, threading the gap at backward point
3.4
W
Wiese to Basil Hameed, out Caught by Chris Lynn!! This was on the cards! Runs had dried up over the last couple of overs and Hameed was getting itchy. Gets a good short ball and he has no clue on dealing with it. Tries to pull but gets a faint top-edge that brushes the helmet and pops straight up to short fine leg. Easy take for Lynn. Hameed was in two minds whether to review or not, but clearly he would have known if he had hit this. And not surprisingly, he walks off without bothering to send this upstairs. Basil Hameed c Chris Lynn b Wiese 9(17) [4s-1]
1.5
4
Sanchit Sharma to Muhammad Waseem, FOUR, deft touch! Third man is up and Sharma provides width, which is a cardinal sin. Waseem delays the cut to ensure that he finds the gap, and he splits short third and backward point
1.1
4
Sanchit Sharma to Basil Hameed, FOUR, shot! Intent from Hameed as he walks down to convert this into a half-volley and drills the drive wide of mid-off. Races away

4
Drakes to Basil Hameed, leg byes, FOUR, gets the inswinger a tad too straight, Hameed misses the flick and it goes off the pads down to the fine leg fence

Drakes to Fletcher, out Lbw!! Excellent review by the Giants and they have an early wicket! This always looked like a good shout even in real time but the question was whether Fletcher had gotten any bat on this. Got stuck on the crease to a sharp nip-backer from Drakes, darted back in to brush the front and back pads, and that's probably the noises that made the ump feel like there was some bat. Giants went for the review and were proven right. Nothing on UltraEdge and the expected Three Reds on ball tracking. Fletcher lbw b Drakes 4(2) [4s-1]

Drakes to Fletcher, FOUR, Fletcher gets going straightaway! Freebie from Drakes to start with, short and wide, and Fletcher takes full toll. Stays back and slashes it over backward point with ease
