Royal Challengers Bengaluru
Remaining fixtures: vs KKR (Home - Raipur), vs PBKS (Away), vs SRH (Away)
After a last-ball thrilling win over MI, the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru ended their two-game losing streak and reached 14 points with 7 wins. Now they are placed at the top of the points table and have lost just four games in their campaign thus far. One more win from the remaining matches should almost seal qualification. Two wins guarantee a Playoffs spot for RCB with their strong net run-rates. They can still reach 20 points by winning their remaining games, which is enough to secure a top-two spot.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Remaining fixtures: vs GT (Away), vs CSK (Away), vs RCB (Home)
Sunrisers Hyderabad have been the standout side this season, driven by a destructive batting lineup. With seven wins from 11 matches and a net run rate of 0.737, SRH are currently second on the table with 14 points. One win from their remaining three games should seal qualification. If they win all three, they'll finish on 20 points and likely secure a top-two spot.
Gujarat Titans
Remaining fixtures: vs SRH (Home), vs KKR (Away), vs CSK (Home)
Gujarat Titans bounced back strongly after successive losses to secure four straight win and broke into the top four with a statement away victory in Jaipur against RR, which took them to 14 points with a boost in NRR. They are currently in third place in the table, behind RCB and SRH on NRR. They have two of the three games at home, and wins in those matches will give them a spot in the top four. They could be in the top-two as well by winning all games; they can even get there with two wins if other results favour them.
Punjab Kings
Remaining fixtures: vs DC (Home - Dharamsala), vs MI (Home - Dharamsala), vs RCB (Home - Dharamsala), vs LSG (Away)
Punjab Kings started the season strongly with a seven-game unbeaten streak (six wins, 1 NR), but have now lost three straight games. Despite those defeats, PBKS remain well placed with 13 points from 10 matches and a net run rate of 0.571. Their next three games will be at home (Dharamsala), and three of their four remaining matches will be against lower-ranked teams. Two wins from their final four games should secure a Playoffs spot. Winning all four would take them to 21 points and likely a Qualifier 1 berth.
Chennai Super Kings
Remaining fixtures: vs LSG (Away), vs SRH (Home), vs GT (Away)
Chennai Super Kings have bounced back with six wins out of the last eight games after a poor start in the first three games and remain in the Playoffs hunt. The five-time champions have 12 points from 11 games and a net run rate of 0.185. They can seal a top-four spot by winning their remaining three matches and moving to 18 points. Two wins should also be enough, taking them to 16 points, typically the safety mark for qualification. But if they win only one, they will finish on 14 points and depend heavily on other results and NRR.
Rajasthan Royals
Remaining fixtures: vs DC (Away), vs LSG (Home), vs MI (Away)
Rajasthan Royals had an impressive start to the season with four consecutive wins, but since then, they have lost five of seven games. Currently, RR sits sixth with 12 points alongside CSK with a similar NRR. Their loss to GT also tightens the race, with several teams close in the standings, and RR may now need at least two wins from their last three remaining games to stay in control of their Playoffs hopes. They have their matches remaining with already eliminated teams, which could give them the confidence to win all of them and secure a Playoffs berth.
Kolkata Knight Riders
Remaining fixtures: vs RCB (Away), vs GT (Home), vs MI (Home), vs DC (Home)
Kolkata Knight Riders are on a four-game winning streak after starting the season with five losses and one NR. They have won four of 10 matches now, sit on nine points, but have a negative net run rate. The 2024 champions must win all four remaining games to reach 17 points, and need other mid-table teams to lose. Even then, qualification will depend heavily on other results. If KKR loses even one game, things get tricky. One defeat would leave them on a maximum of 15 points, meaning they would need favourable results, particularly involving RCB, GT, and SRH, to stay in the top four.
Delhi Capitals
Remaining fixtures: vs PBKS (Away), vs RR (Home), vs KKR (Away)
Delhi Capitals remain mathematically alive, with eight points from 11 matches. They must win all three remaining games to stay alive. Even then, with a maximum of 14 points, they need many other results to go their way. A defeat in any of their remaining matches will end their campaign for this season.
