Quinton de Kock and Raj Angad Bawa have been ruled out of IPL 2026 due to injuries.
Mumbai Indians will be without the duo for their remaining two matches, having already been eliminated from the Playoffs race. De Kock, the South Africa wicketkeeper-batter, suffered a tendon injury in his left wrist ahead of MI's match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Raj Angad Bawa, the Chandigarh all-rounder, sustained a ligament tear to his right thumb during MI's previous fixture against Punjab Kings.
Both players are in their respective homes, recuperating from the injury.
A statement from the Mumbai Indians said that they will announce replacements as per the IPL guidelines.
De Kock last played for MI on April 23, smashing 132 runs in three innings, including his 112* against Punjab Kings. Bawa, the 23-year-old former U19 India all-rounder, played three games for the team this year, having played as many matches last year as well.
MI are currently ninth on the points table, with four wins in 12 matches and a net run-rate of -0.504. They have two matches left: against KKR on Wednesday (May 20) in Kolkata and Rajasthan Royals on Sunday (May 24) in Mumbai.
