So, that's it from our side! The Kingsmen rose to the occasion when it mattered to most to seal the fourth playoff spot. They have knocked Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions, out of the tournament courtesy this win. Don't go anywhere though as the last league game of this season is coming up between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans. The winner of that game will seal a top-two finish and will face Peshawar Zalmi in the Qualifier. Hop tabs to catch all the action. Until next time, goodbye and cheers!
Marnus Labuschagne: It's hard to sum up what we've just done there. Firstly, to lose the toss there, I was actually very conflicted at the toss, as I said, because I thought if we could do what we did in the first innings, that was the best way to win the game. And for the boys to step up, Glenn had a quiet tournament up till then to find that innings and KP and Usman Khan and then Hassan Khan to finish it off there. For us to get 244 there, it really kept us in the game. We thought the wicket may be a little bit of double pace there. And then, it was just about holding our nerves. We know how those go. You're up, you're down. They get a few boundaries. You feel like the dream's over. You get a few wickets. The boys are too high. So just trying to keep everything calm and to be able to finish it off there was real special.
Mohammad Rizwan: We are disappointed, we tried our best. Till Forrester and Amad Butt were batting, we were going for the target. But once they got out, we thought to play some proper cricket and see where we reach. If they bowl us out under 158, they deserved to qualify and they did that so all credit to them. The way they played today they deserved to win. It was a batting pitch and the game in hand was important for us and not how the result affects others. We feel bad for Lahore but unfortunately, it wasn't in their destiny to make it.
Hunain Shah | Player of the Match: All the boys worked very hard, and everyone was focused on one thing - that we have to win this match. We had already set a target - that we have to do this, score these many runs, and complete it in these many overs. Everyone was putting in effort on that. In bowling, not everything is always in our control, but even in those situations there is enjoyment in the game. The batters did their job very well. We had to restrict them to 158 runs and we took four important wickets according to the plan. In between, some big overs also happened, but even then we continued to play in a simple and sensible way. As always, we tried to play according to the conditions, just like we have done in other matches. Our strategy was simple - bowl normally and perform according to our ability. We trusted our players, and every bowler put in full effort and belief while bowling - that we would perform well for the team.
18:23 Local Time, 13:23 GMT, 18:53 IST: The Kingsmen seal the final playoff spot on the back of a terrific all-round performance! After being inserted into bat, the Kingsmen were terrific. Fifties from Usman Khan, Perera and a blazing knock from Maxwell down the order enabled them to post a mammoth 244 on the board. The catching was poor from the Pindiz as they put down a number of chances and that didn't help their cause. In response, Shahzaib departed early but the duo of Rizwan and Khawaja got together and kept the scoreboard ticking. Khawaja in particular got off the blocks in a jiffy with some eye-catchy stroke and kept finding the boundaries regularly. But, the Pindiz lost two wickets in a space of three balls and that halted their momentum. Billings also played a good cameo but once he fell against the run of play, the Pindiz lost the plot. They kept falling like a pack of cards. Khawaja was left stranded at one end as he dropped anchor. The Kingsmen bowled brilliantly and were on the money throughout. Hunain Shah was the pick of their bowlers as he took a 4-fer and Akif Javed impressed as well with a 3-fer. The lower order couldn't provide Khawaja the support he needed. The Kingsmen needed to restrict the Pindiz to 158 or less and they have done really well to bowl them out for a modest 136. Stick around for the presentations...

Glenn Maxwell to Asif Afridi, out Asif Afridi Run Out!! All drama in Karachi! The players in the Kingsmen dugout are elated! Asif Afridi nudges this one towards short fine and the batters take off. The throw from Ayub is an accurate one to Maxwell. Asif Afridi is a bit lazy as he casually plonks bat down. Maxwell takes the bails off. Is he short of his crease? The body language of the Kingsmen players certainly suggests to. The replay rolls in and Afridi is just short. Asif Afridi run out (Saim Ayub/Glenn Maxwell) 3(6)
