Jason Holder | St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots Captain - (On the win) Top team effort, you know. I mean, the batters set us up well. Shanaka was outstanding. I think Andre Fletcher was outstanding as was Johnson Charles. I think everybody played a part today. It's important that we maintain partnerships and don't go helter-skelter. I just thought we paced it really well and finished explosively. (On the decision to promote Shanaka) We have played enough games now to understand our template and obviously Dasun has been in pretty good form. So we just wanted to utilize him as much as we possibly could. Today the situation worked out so he could get a few more balls and he utilized every single one of them. The way he played, he was just well-placed at the beginning, obviously giving himself a really good chance, and then it was very, very explosive at the back end, as we've come to know him over the years. So, well done to him. I think credit must really, really go to him for the way he paced his innings and obviously finished strongly. Honestly, the team effort in terms of the bowling has also been outstanding. So, well done to everyone. (On the crowd) To the people of St Kitts and Nevis, thank you so much. The support has been tremendous over the last couple of years. It hasn't been great times, but you stuck with us through thick and thin. I just want to say personally thank you for all the support, and hopefull this support and this momentum goes a long way into the rest of the tournament.

Roston Chase | St. Lucial Kings Captain - (On the chase) 235 was a pretty good score, a very big score, but we know this ground favors chasing, and those kinds of scores have been chased down. So we were confident that we could still get there, but we needed a good start in the powerplay. That didn't happen, so we were always on the back foot from there. (On the bowling) That's the thing. In a game like this, I didn't think any bowler was put under extreme pressure, only probably at the back end, and I didn't want to bring a new bowler into that stage. So yeah, I thought Shanaka played well and put us under pressure, and then we failed to take those chances when they came. I thought that was very mediocre of us. (On the fielding) I thought we were poor. When you give good players a one-on-one chance to bat, especially on a good wicket and a small ground, they're always going to put you under pressure. Then, the incoming batsmen obviously have free rein to play their natural game with that kind of start. So yeah, I thought we weren't really good in the field. We were very sloppy, and it cost us the game.

Dasun Shanaka | Player of the Match - (on his start) Initially, my plan was to play according to the merit of the ball, according to the field placing and how they were going to offer. Then, of course, after scoring 30 runs, I felt the wicket was good, and when the ball was in my strength area, I was going to take a chance. Luckily, everything worked for me. It's such a kind of a day, and thanks to the management, especially Jason and the coach, who wanted me to bat higher. They sent me a bit higher in the order, so I'm thankful to them. (On the captain and coach sending him higher-up in the order). Actually, both the captain and the coach, and of course commentators have been talking a lot about that. I was lucky enough to get a chance to bat higher in the order. (On the pitch and the curator) I need to give them a big hug because they've been working hard to make good pitches. To be honest, I enjoy batting in the Caribbean, and the grounds have been really good.

An emphatic win ends the home leg for the Patriots, keeping them in the hunt for a possible top-4 finish. the win was set-up earlier in the night by Dasun Shanaka - the Sri Lanka all-rounder blasted a 43-ball 121* and also created history by making the fastest century in the history of the CPL. 236 was always a tough ask and the Kings crumbled. Only Tim Seifert (50) offered some fight, but wickets fell around him. Obus Pienaar and John Campbell were the only two other batters to reach double digits as the home team dominated. A solid day at the office finished with Jeremiah Louis' 5-wicket haul as the Kings crashed to 98 all-out, losing by a whopping 137-run margin. They take a lap of honour in front of the fans at the Warner Park and will now head to Barbados and Guyana - hoping to win their last 2 matches and reach the playoffs.
