Joe Weatherley | Player of the match: (Talks about the conditions early on) Yeah, we just found it tricky to be honest, through the powerplay. It sort of got easier as we put a partnership together. We were aiming for 170 and went a bit better. But it's by no means a flat surface. There was a bit of bounce through the powerplay and a bit of hold as the innings went on. Well, I think we're two from about 14 tosses this competition, so it doesn't seem to have any correlation. But yeah, it was good to put runs on the board. We always felt that if we took wickets through that chase, we were a chance. (Talks about the batting) Not really. It was just the flow of the innings. Vincey played square, as he did in the quarter-final and we just sort of worked together, I guess. Then we've got firepower with our overseas players coming in at the back end, so that was kind of the way we set it up. Yeah, we've played in quite a few over the last five or six years, and it's very much a process now. It's quite calm. Russell Domingo, our coach, is very much, "We've won nothing.” So yeah, one more game to reach our ultimate goal. Not sure. I mean, this game was quite different to the first game. I think every game is its own individual game and you've got to win the contest. But yeah, we'll be looking to play well in the final and bring the trophy home.

Nottinghamshire's chase began with quick action when George Munsey hit an early six but was caught by Tristan Stubbs trying the exact same shot soon later. Joe Clarke and Jack Haynes then built a 85-run partnership while Clarke reached his fifty. However, the game turned completely when Haynes and Clarke were dismissed in back-to-back overs. Tom Moores fell quickly after and the rest of the batters kept getting caught in the deep while trying to hit big shots. Hampshire's bowlers were excellent. James Fuller was the pick of them with 4 wickets, Chris Wood and Currie got 2 each. Scott Currie caught a sharp return catch to get rid of Patterson-White and clean-bowling Liam Pennington on the very next ball. With this win, Hampshire moves straight into the final match against Northamptonshire!
