Matt Henry to Harry Brook, out Lbw!! That looked plumb and Brook doesn't bother reviewing it. How often have we seen Henry doing this? He is a genuine wicket-taker. Got Root out in the previous over, and gets another big wicket. Similar to the previous delivery that he bowled against Root. A sharp nip-backer from over the wicket and Harry Brook gets beaten and pinned on the pads as he tried to defend it. Impact in line and it's crashing into the stumps, confirm the replays. England will have two relatively new batsmen at the crease. The tactic of having the keeper up to the stumps appeared to unsettle Brook, who never looked comfortable. Matt Henry to Root, out Lbw!! That's a huge wicket. Matt Henry strikes. Root has to wait for his landmark of 14000 Test runs. This was a length delivery that nipped back in sharply and Root tried to defend it. Didn't read the line due to the sharp seam movement and got pinned on the pads. Umpire Nitin Menon raised his finger, and replays confirm Root is a goner. It's pitching in line, the impact was umpire's call and it's hitting the stumps as well. He walks back after playing a useful knock, but just like NZ, even England batters are unable to convert their starts into formidable scores. Root misses out on his fifty and also a chance to reach 14000 runs in Test cricket. Root lbw b Matt Henry 46(57) [4s-8]
