He lets out a roar in delight does the classy seamer. Keeps it simple once again. On a length and just outside off, Tongue defends from the crease and gets a healthy outside edge that goes straight into the bucket hands of Daryl Mitchell at first slip. UltraEdge confirms no inside edge. Over to ball-tracking and it's hitting leg! Three reds and Adrian Holdstock's onfield call stays. Root's fighting knock comes to an end and he wears a disappointing look even as he gets applauded by the crowd. Not a lot of movement off the deck, but enough to beat the defensive edge of the batter who was stuck in the crease. The appeal wasn't vociferous, Henry was confident but up went the dreaded finger. Root lbw b Matt Henry 77(145) [4s-8]

Matt Henry to Root, no run, gee, what a good ball this is! To make a set batter think about his foot work, make him adjust late and play an unconvincing defence. Length delivery nipping back in, Root originally was playing outside the line. Had he moved his front foot inside the line, he would have been out LBW. Even this defence off the inner half of the bat almost took the pad before hitting bat

Matt Henry to Harry Brook, out Caught by Daryl Mitchell!! Tell you what, New Zealand have got very lucky with this wicket. The ball flew off the outside edge, took the deflection from Tom Blundell's gloves (keeper is up) and went absolutely straight to Mitchell at slip and not anywhere else. Henry kept probing around the off stump, few times in the good length zone, few slightly back of a length. He pinned Brook to the crease again in the defence. Brook got a thick edge, Blundell, who is standing up, has no time to react. Maybe Henry deserved this piece of luck for some relentless bowling in the channel. Brook couldn't come forward or go properly on the back foot. The ball nipped away when he was trying to defend and this is a big wicket. No wonder Tom Blundell, Henry and Co. celebrated this loud.
