That was a well-directed bumper by the England captain. The first replay showed it hit the sweatband but the one from the side-on angle suggests it went off the arm guard. The on-field umpire gave it out after the ball ballooned to gully but Santner wasn't really sure. The left-hander tried to duck under it but couldn't get his hands down. He will have to walk back but you would say that was a mistake from the third umpire. As soon as Santner reviewed, Stokes had a word with him and asked him where the ball hit him, Santner pointed to the arm guard but Stokes pointed back that it was the sweatband. Gets it off the upper part of the bat and the ball goes high in the air towards point where Gay completes an easy catch.
