Matt Henry to Kagiso Rabada, out Caught by James Neesham!! KG just wanted to chip it for a single but he's picked out the man at long-on and Marco is left frustrated at the other end as he can't have strike. Full and following the batter as he backed away. KG just wanted a flick but that flick had too much timing for his liking and long-on moved to his left for a fine catch. Can Matt Henry get a hat-trick now? Kagiso Rabada c James Neesham b Matt Henry 0(1)

Matt Henry to Corbin Bosch, out Bowled!! Great yorker at the base of middle and off. Bosch swings and misses as it dipped just under his bat to disturb the stumps. Three balls, just 4 runs and a wicket in this over and Marco will be off strike for the fourth ball. Corbin Bosch b Matt Henry 2(3)

Lockie Ferguson to Marco Jansen, SIX, pace off wasn't working so he went pace on but landed right in the slot for Marco to go through the line and straight over long-on. What a time to bring up his first fifty of the tournament. The dugout and the SA fans in the stands applaud this wonderful innings

Lockie Ferguson to Marco Jansen, SIX, tees off now. Short and the slower ball again stood up, Jansen stood back and smashed it high and handsome over wide long-on for a mighty six

W
Lockie Ferguson to Tristan Stubbs, out Bowled!! The middle stump is out of the ground. Brilliant slower delivery. Was a tease as it was in the slot, Stubbs waits to slog hard, through the shot a bit early. Ball brushed the pad and knocked out the middle pole. Lockie Ferguson roars as he knows this will make a difference of 10 runs to the scoreboard. Stubbs had a plan to go ultra aggressive in the last two overs and Lockie has delivered a huge blow. Tristan Stubbs b Lockie Ferguson 29(24) [4s-2 6s-1]

6
James Neesham to Marco Jansen, SIX, Mark Chapman tries to take the catch and push it back in play but he doesn't collect and uses ad boards to hold his balance from the run. Another hit me ball from James Neesham, Jansen smashed the pull over mid-wicket, Chapman moved to the left but couldn't deny that six

4
James Neesham to Marco Jansen, FOUR, oh a fine tickle. Marco moved across and managed to get a faint edge on this glance. Neesham fired the yorker slightly down the leg-side and it needed just a bit of bat with fine leg up
17.3
6
James Neesham to Tristan Stubbs, SIX, James Neesham is the weak link and they are cashing in. Tried the short ball but it sat up. Stubbs rocked back and timed the pull shot sweetly over mid-wicket. Fielder watches it sail over his head
17.2
4
James Neesham to Tristan Stubbs, FOUR, belted down the ground. Long-on and long-off did not even enter the frame. Full and in the slot, Stubbs swung hard, didn't middle it but still had enough power to get the four
16.5
Matt Henry to Tristan Stubbs, 1 run, yorker on the stumps, Stubbs flicks to long-on and the fifty stand comes up
16.4
4
Matt Henry to Tristan Stubbs, FOUR, now Stubbs goes for it. The slower ball bumper, sat up to be hit. Stubbs waits and pulls it between deep mid-wicket and long-on. 13 off the over already, just what the Proteas wanted
16.2
6
Matt Henry to Marco Jansen, SIX, the no look maximum from Marco. Slot, ah I would love a couple of those says Marco. Clears the front leg out of the way and swings at it. I know where that's going so I am not looking at it he suggests. One of the cleanest hits of the game and it easily cleared wide long-on
13.5
Rachin Ravindra to Tristan Stubbs, 1 run, dropped short and wide of off, Stubbs cuts to the left of cover and brings up South Africa's slowest 100 of the tournament
13.2
6
Rachin Ravindra to Marco Jansen, SIX, down the ground and bam! Jansen steps out, gets close to the pitch of the delivery and clubs it for a 81-metre maximum over long-on

4
Mitchell Santner to Marco Jansen, FOUR, looks to punch on the up and gets a thick outside edge that runs away past the keeper to his right. It had a fair bit of pace on it and kept racing away in a hurry to the third man fence...

James Neesham to Dewald Brevis, out Caught by Mitchell Santner!! Santner will catch that on one leg in his dreams. He is such a composed character and does not show too much emotion after claiming the biggest wicket of the night. Neesham threw it full and wide of off stump, Brevis played the drive on the up and ended up skewing it off the toe end to the left of Santner at cover. The Kiwi skipper timed his jump and clasped it with great control. Half the side back in the hutch for South Africa. Dewald Brevis c Mitchell Santner b James Neesham 34(27) [4s-3 6s-2]

W
Rachin Ravindra to David Miller, out Caught by Daryl Mitchell!! Got him this time. Slower and wobbling away well wide of off. Miller thought that was in the hitting slot and went for the big hit. Off the cue end of the bat and Mitchell settles under it long-on. Rachin Ravindra was the Player of the Match the last time South Africa played New Zealand in an ICC tournament (Champions Trophy last year) and looks like he already has a 50 percent stake on that award once again with his two crucial wickets. David Miller c Daryl Mitchell b Rachin Ravindra 6(6)

6
Rachin Ravindra to Dewald Brevis, SIX, full on leg stump, Brevis uses his bottom hand power to launch a mighty maximum over cow corner! Clean as a whistle
9.1
Rachin Ravindra to David Miller, 2 runs, has Phillips dropped the World Cup final spot? He would take that catch 10/10 times during practice. Miller went for the big hit and sliced it high into the air off the thick inside half to the left of deep extra cover. Phillips ran across, got under it and then got nervy at the last moment. Ended up fumbling and tumbling onto the ground. He tried to jump at the last moment which was completely unnecessary and the major reason for the blip...

6
Mitchell Santner to Dewald Brevis, SIX, dropped short and Dewald Brevis is onto it in a flash! He jumps deep inside the crease and swats the pull many-a-mile over the man at deep mid-wicket

W
Rachin Ravindra to Aiden Markram, out Caught by Daryl Mitchell!! Aiden Markram was dropped on 3 by Rachin Ravindra and the latter has made amends. It was fired in towards middle and leg, Markram plays the loft down the ground and doesn't quite find the middle of the bat. Skews it off the thick inside half and sends it flat towards the man at long-on. Mitchell ran forward and put in a full length dive to claim it inches above the turf. It looked touch-and-go during the replays, but the telly umpire was content with the side-on replays to confirm the verdict. Mitchell never claimed the catch though, he straightway hinted that he was not sure and prompted the umpires to take it upstairs. Aiden Markram c Daryl Mitchell b Rachin Ravindra 18(20) [4s-1 6s-1]

Mitchell Santner to Aiden Markram, leg byes, 1 run, fired in with the arm, Markram misses the flick and gets it off the front pad into the leg-side

4
James Neesham to Dewald Brevis, FOUR, 17 off the over! The length was a touch too full and Brevis plays the drive wide of mid-off this time. High elbow and feet pointing towards cover. Everything right about this shot from the young man...

4
James Neesham to Dewald Brevis, FOUR, Brevis knows no fear! He sees the full ball and shows full face of the bat to cream the drive all along the ground in the gap through cover

6
James Neesham to Aiden Markram, SIX, this man is pure elegance. He got a bad ball alright, but Markram did not try to overhit the ball. Sprayed a length ball at the pads has Jimmy Neesham and Markram took full toll by whipping it for a 77-metre maximum over mid-wicket
3.4
4
Lockie Ferguson to Aiden Markram, FOUR, adding insult to injury. Markram gets on top of the bounce and punches sweetly in the gap between mid-off and cover
3.3
Lockie Ferguson to Aiden Markram, no run, dropped! That was the trap delivery, but it did not go to plan. Length ball angled into the pads, enticing Markram to go for the whippy flick. He plays the shot and slices it off the inside edge to the right of Rachin Ravindra at mid-wicket. Rachin got both hands on the dive and failed to hang onto it. How costly would that prove?

Cole McConchie to Dewald Brevis, FOUR, guess what! A thick outside edge and there's no slip. Gets the ball to drift away from the right-hander just outside off, lures Brevis into the drive and the outside edge runs away past the keeper to his right. No-one at short third and that is a four first ball for Dewald Brevis...

Cole McConchie to Ryan Rickelton, out Caught by Finn Allen!! Cole McConchie strikes again. He's on a hat-trick now. Drops the ball short and wide of off stump. Rickelton felt that was a wonderful opportunity to get off the mark and went for the slash. Comes off the thick outside half and offers catching practice to Finn Allen at backward point. What a wonderful start this for the Kiwis. Ryan Rickelton c Finn Allen b Cole McConchie 0(1)

Cole McConchie to Quinton de Kock, out Caught by Lockie Ferguson!! Cole McConchie may not have played enough games in international cricket, but he's played a million games in domestic cricket and he's a wily customer mind you. Not disheartened by the fact that QDK took him for a four down the ground, he persists with the shorter length and gets the ball to jump on him. No room either. QDK goes for the sloggy pull and gets more height than distance. Lockie steadies himself at mid-on and takes it comfortably. Quinton de Kock c Lockie Ferguson b Cole McConchie 10(8) [4s-1 6s-1]

4
Cole McConchie to Quinton de Kock, FOUR, with mid-on inside the ring QDK wanted to take Cole McConchie down town and he succeeds! Not close to the pitch of the delivery, but he's dragged the shot and got enough power to clear Ferguson inside the ring...

Matt Henry to Quinton de Kock, SIX, rusty? What rusty says Quinny de Kock. Gets off the mark with an eye-pleasing maximum. The length was short and the line - right in the swinging arc just outside off. QDK clears his front leg and dispatches the pull flat over the deep square fence
