Cottrell to Obed McCoy, out Caught by Thomas!! The Stars have been blown away for 69, the third lowest total in the history of CPL. This was full and this was just outside off, McCoy swung in hope, got a thick edge and Thomas did the rest. Pollard looks completely lost in the dug-out. Obed McCoy c Thomas b Cottrell 6(2) [6s-1]

Lamichhane to Obed McCoy, SIX, McCoy gets away with a meaty blow, was close to being caught at the ropes, but the fielder was touching it as he looked to throw it back, handy six runs for the Stars. This was the wrong 'un and McCoy didn't spot it, aimed a mighty blow and just about got enough bat

Lamichhane to Kesrick Williams, out McClenaghan Run Out!! This is mindless cricket from the Stars, McClenaghan was sold a dummy and he's the ninth wicket to fall. The wrong 'un and Williams didn't spot it, pushed forward in hope and managed an inside edge towards square leg. There was no run there, but Williams was adamant that there was a single on offer, McClenaghan was nowhere in frame as he started, stuttered, stopped and then gave up. McClenaghan run out (Cottrell/Thomas) 2(3)

Lamichhane to Qais Ahmad, out Stumped!! This was coming, Qais was itching to go after the leg-spinner, came down the track, Lamichhane smartly held his length back, slowed it down in pace and got it to drift and spin past Qais's frailing bat. Having been done in by the flight, Qais compounded matters further by slogging across the line. He missed and it's an easy stumping for the keeper. Pollard looks shocked in the dug-out. Qais Ahmad st Thomas b Lamichhane 24(18) [4s-2 6s-2]

Brathwaite to Kavem Hodge, out Caught by Thomas!! Hodge looks shocked as the umpire's finger went up. Oh dear! This is a shocker from the umpire, he missed it by a mile and even the keeper wasn't interested in the appeal. Short of a good length and well outside off, Hodge was looking to dab and missed. Kavem Hodge c Thomas b Brathwaite 0(4)

Brathwaite to Qais Ahmad, FOUR, banged in short and well outside off, Qais doesn't get hold of the pull, but has enough to clear wide mid-wicket, bounces away from the fielder and rolls away to the fence

Cutting to Sammy, out Caught by Gayle!! Edged and caught! The Stars are in serious trouble now, the former captain has been dismissed for a blob. This was a back of a length delivery outside off, Sammy was looking to force it away off the back-foot, got a thick edge and Gayle holds on at slip. Silence in the stadium and the Patriots are running amok. Sammy c Gayle b Cutting 0(3)

Lamichhane to Qais Ahmad, SIX, this is much better from Qais, gets a long way across, plays with the turn and sweeps it high and behind square on the on-side, sailed over the ropes for a maximum

W
Lamichhane to Warner, out Caught by Cutting!! Now, this is a huge wicket and the Nepal star has outfoxed Warner. This was a lovely wrong 'un, pitched on off and drifted away, Warner was looking to go inside out over cover, doesn't get anywhere near the pitch of the ball, ended up slicing it high and over cover. Cutting ran in from the deep, slid and completed a fine two-handed catch. Warner c Cutting b Lamichhane 14(17) [4s-1]

Mahmudullah to Qais Ahmad, FOUR, expensive over from Mahmudullah, Qais came down the track, doesn't get close to the ball, frees his arms and drills it back past the non-striker, beats long-on, moving to his left

Mahmudullah to Qais Ahmad, SIX, that's a mighty blow from Qais, comes down the track, doesn't get close to the ball and swings it wide of long-on, has enough to clear the fence on the full

Cutting to Warner, FOUR, Warner breaks the shackles and gets his first boundary, short and just outside off, Warner didn't get hold of the pull, but has enough to clear the fielder at mid-wicket

W
Cottrell to Pollard, out Caught by Lewis!! This is a big wicket and the Stars are floundering in St. Lucia. Pollard gave it away far too early, Cottrell spotted him coming down the track and shortened his length. Cramped for room and hurried on by the pace - all that Pollard could do was to push meekly, the bottom hand came off at the point of impact and the ball lobbed gently towards cover-point. Lewis ran across to his left and completed the catch. Pollard c Lewis b Cottrell 4(10) [4s-1]

Cottrell to Pollard, FOUR, Pollard is off and running, this was full and this was wide of off, Pollard threw his bat at that and sliced it behind square on the off-side, has enough to beat the fielder getting across from the deep

Mahmudullah to Simmons, out Stumped!! Another stumping appeal and once again Thomas looks very confident. Simmons dragged his foot out and I don't think he'e dragged it back. OUT is the call. Another cheap score for Simmons, lovely bowling from Mahmudullah, drifted this one wider of off, dragged Simmons forward on the defensive push and beat him on the outside edge, Thomas was quick to whip the bails off with the batsman struggling to get back. The Stars find themselves in some trouble now. Simmons st Thomas b Mahmudullah 2(5)

W
Mahmudullah to Cornwall, out Caught by Brathwaite!! The Stars have lose two now. Cornwall's promotion hasn't worked today, slower and just outside off, Cornwall was looking to repeat the previous shot, doesn't get hold of it and finds Brathwaite at mid-off - the Windies T20 captain back padals and holds on. Went off the toe-end, lots of height, but not the distance. Cornwall c Brathwaite b Mahmudullah 4(6) [4s-1]

Mahmudullah to Cornwall, FOUR, nicely played by Cornwall, leans forward to a well flighted delivery and chips it over mid-off, clears the man in the ring and rolls away to the fence

W
Cottrell to Andre Fletcher, out Caught&Bowled!! That's as simple as it gets, a juicy full-toss from Cottrell, Fletcher was looking to whip it towards the on-side, closed the bat-face far too early, the ball popped off the leading edge and lobbed back at the bowler. A simple chance and Cottrell gobbles it up, begins his march-past celebrations and the Stars have lose an early wicket. Andre Fletcher c and b Cottrell 8(4) [6s-1]

Cottrell to Andre Fletcher, SIX, that is some start from Fletcher, on a good length and shaping back into the right-hander, Fletcher covers for the movement, shuffles across and shovels it high and over mid-wicket for a maximum
