R Reifer to Keron Cottoy, FOUR, the extra ball costs Reifer a boundary. Low full toss and Cottoy powers it straight down the ground, bisected long-on and long-off perfectly and didn't even bother to run

R Reifer to Fabian Allen, SIX, woah! That is some hit from Allen. Full and angled outside off, Allen clears his front leg and thumps it over extra cover, the ball hardly left the ground as it goes rocketing over the boundary rope

6
Gurney to Keron Cottoy, SIX, that's gone 30 rows back. It was the back of the hand slower ball which is right in the arc, Cottoy just delays his bat swing and connects beautifully to send it towering over long-on

Gurney to Fabian Allen, FOUR, Allen remains the key for SNP. He picks the slower delivery and slams it straight past the bowler, Hales had a few yards to cover from long-off but he couldn't there

Shakib to Brathwaite, out Lbw!! Tridents are on a hat-trick. Shakib is just too good for Brathwaite. First ball of the over and he slips in the arm-ball, drifts and slides in, Brathwaite plunges forward to defend but it beaten comprehensively on the inside edge, rapped low and in front of the stumps. Easy decision for the umpire. Brathwaite lbw b Shakib 7(5) [4s-1]

Hayden Walsh to Shamarh Brooks, out Bowled!! Cleaned up! It was brave of Holder to give him the ball even after he was struck for a couple of sixes in the previous over but Walsh has repaid the faith. He tosses it up and draws Brooks into the slog sweep, but the length was dragged back and Brooks was through the shot even before the ball arrived, crashes into the middle-stump. A fine innings from Brooks comes to an end. He has set platform for the big hitters. Shamarh Brooks b Hayden Walsh 53(33) [4s-6 6s-2]

Hayden Walsh to Brathwaite, FOUR, fraction short and outside off, Brathwaite slashes hard and the outside edge flies away wide of the slip fielder, no chance for the backward point fielder to chase it down

R Reifer to Thomas, out Caught by Holder!! Stunning grab by the Tridents skipper. Slower ball that is right in the slot, Thomas moves across and gets under it, pumps it flat towards long-on and Holder uses his height to his advantage, stands right on the edge of the boundary rope and takes it over his head. That ball was traveling but Holder had no problem dealing with it. Thomas c Holder b R Reifer 20(16) [4s-1 6s-1]

R Reifer to Shamarh Brooks, 1 run, maiden CPL fifty for Brooks. He looks relieved as he looks up to the sky. Raises his bat and acknowledges the applause of his team mates. Slower delivery around off, Brooks pushes it to cover where Nurse is happy to concede the single

R Reifer to Thomas, FOUR, this would have been another wide had Thomas not gone chasing it, he reached out and got a toe-end on the slash, the ball runs away fine past a diving Charles

Hayden Walsh to Thomas, SIX, second six of the over and SNP are finally putting their foot on the accelerator. Flighted around off, Thomas crouches low to get underneath it and hammers it straight over long-on

Hayden Walsh to Shamarh Brooks, SIX, fantastic hit! It was the wrong 'un and Brooks picked it right out of the hand, he transfers his weight into the shot and lofts it beautifully straight back over Walsh

Hayden Walsh to Shamarh Brooks, FOUR, he is picking the gaps effortlessly. This was drifting into leg-stump, Brooks kneels down and rolls his wrists on the sweep so that he could place it finer towards long leg

Gurney to Shamarh Brooks, FOUR, fabulous shot! He seems to be playing on a different surface. Good length ball outside off, Brooks lofts on the rise and through the line, straight over mid-off and he stands there to admire the shot

R Reifer to Shamarh Brooks, FOUR, sloppy from Gurney. Juicy half volley on the pads and Brooks flicks it to short fine, Gurney is beaten by the timing on the shot and the ball is through even before he could get down

Gurney to Laurie Evans, out Caught by Charles!! Gurney has the better of his countryman. Short of length delivery that kicks up and surprises the batsman, Evans tried to cope with the extra bounce and guide it to third man, but only managed an outside edge to Charles who dived across to his right to take the catch. Laurie Evans c Charles b Gurney 5(9)

Hayden Walsh to Shamarh Brooks, FOUR, smashed away! Tossed up invitingly by Walsh and Brooks took the bait with a thunderous drive through extra cover

Hayden Walsh to Lewis, out Caught by J Carter!! Holes out in the deep. Hales is a relieved man as that dropped catch hasn't cost his side much. Walsh once again among the wickets and this is a big strike for sure. Lured Lewis into the big shot but the slog sweep despite being struck well wasn't placed properly. Deep mid-wicket didn't have to budge an inch to take this. Lewis c J Carter b Hayden Walsh 19(20) [4s-2]

Chemar to Lewis, 3 runs, dropped by Hales! Not easy, these high skiers in night games but he did well to get his eyes on the ball till almost the last moment and just when you thought he had pouched it, out it popped. Was a wild slog from Lewis and the length wasn't there for the shot, thereby inducinmg a mishit that went straight up into the nighy sky and Hales had to trek back from mid-on. Tough one for sure but having got there, you expect an international cricketer like Hales to catch these

Chemar to Shamarh Brooks, SIX, puts this in the crowd! Wow! Terrific shot from this bloke who's got going from ball one. This was in the slot and slightly drifting towards the pads, Brooks just shuffled across a touch and drop-kicked this over deep mid-wicket. Effortless pick up

Holder to Lewis, FOUR, edged but just past slip! Nurse put in a terrific dive to his right but just couldn't get to it. He was anyway placed much wider, almost at a third slip region. Lewis survives. He was squared up completely but this lifter from Holder, snatching the edge, only to find it racing away to the third man fence

Chemar to Shamarh Brooks, FOUR, not timed that well again but Brooks once again picks the gap, this time at extra cover and it races away. Wanted to drive this on the up and was probably a touch early on the shot than he would have liked. Fortunately, it's just wide of the fielder in the ring and also ended up sneaking past him

Chemar to Shamarh Brooks, FOUR, miscue but clears mid-on comfortably and it races away. Was the hard length ball and Brooks didn't even bother going on the back foot as he went for the flat-batted pull

Holder to Hafeez, out Caught by Charles!! Hafeez's struggle is over. Not sure if this wicket is a plus or minus for both sides. Weird dismissal too. Was a shorter length ball that hurried off the deck and Hafeez was clearly late on the pull. Got a toe-ender towards Charles who did well to pouch it with a dive to his right. Not often that you see a pull shot ending up there but it just sums up the kind of innings Hafeez played. Hafeez c Charles b Holder 6(14) [4s-1]

Holder to Hafeez, FOUR, cheeky from Hafeez! He needed this release shot you'd think. Walked well across for the premeditated paddle scoop and got it easily over short fine leg. Smartly done

Holder to Lewis, FOUR, poor ball and the Patriots finally open their account off the 10th delivery. Shortish and well down leg, Lewis just had to get it past short fine leg and does so with a pull after getting inside the line. Slightly off the glove and that helped it go finer
