Pakistan fast-bowler Hasan Ali had to be stretchered off the field after sustaining a blow to his head on the first day of the second Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan in Sylhet.
The incident occurred in the eighth over when Ali dived to his right attempting a return catch off Tanzid Hasan Tamim. He then ended up landing awkwardly while sustaining an impact to the right side of his head. There were concerns all around as Ali looked visibly dizzy even as he received medical attention. Eventually, he was helped onto a stretcher before being taken off the field. Salman Agha then went on to complete the over.
Pakistan's worries were short-lived, however, as Ali returned to the field at the start of the 16th over. He resumed bowling in the 19th over.
