Manchester needed a win desperately and they have managed it. The Brave needed something similar but have lost and are out of the race now. They tried but have fallen well short. The margin of defeat was reduced towards the fag end but for a majority of the chase, the Brave unit were well off the target. The wicket was just not easy to time the shots. Most of the balls were gripping on the deck. The bowlers of Manchester side executed very well and have a chance to continue. They will to continue to bounce on. We will bounce off! Paul Walter, Match Hero: Yeah, obviously, glad to get the result and roll on to the last game. Not too much pre-meditation. But yeah, a bit of control. But yeah, it was always going to be a low scoring, so I thought just try and get up to a flier, and then managed to keep going. Just trying to come in and impact. I knew we were in the game, we needed to win all three, so just made my chance when I came in. It still was a good score. Obviously a bit disappointed the way the back end went, but yeah, I thought, boys bowled brilliantly out there to defend that like we did.

They join the mid table crowd with this win. 150 was always tough on a wicket which was slowing down by the minute. Tristan Stubbs tried to hold one end up but he could never get going. Jamie Smith consumed 25 balls but failed to score quickly. Stoinis and Nikhil tried to keep the chase alive but was a case of too little too late. The wicket did play a part and so did the spinners by keeping it tight but credit to the bowlers of the Manchester unit who executed their plans brilliantly. The target seemed a few runs lesser for the defending side but they bowled tight lines and executed the slower ones really well.
