Jacob Duffy to Keacy Carty, SIX, lovely timing and placement! Short of a length delivery on the leg stump, Carty rocks back and pulls over backward square leg and it sailed all the way. Pace on and he got the timing spot on. Umps come together to discuss something. Hang on, they are checking if this is a hit-wicket as the bail came off. Oh Carty did disturb the stumps with the bat, the bail did come off but the ump felt the shot was already completed so it will be not out. The New Zealand players question what was the thought process behind the decision and the ump explains the same. In fact the ball had gone over the ropes when the bail came off. Carty was just admiring his shot and the followthrough of the bat was so long that he ended up flicking a bail off despite not being close to the stumps. Carty immediately removed his glove and placed the bail back onto the stumps. Had the bail come off before the shot was completed, he would have been given out
