Sophie Molineux to Freya Kemp, 1 run, slogs this to the left of long-on, goes on the bounce to Perry, who manages to keep it down to a single

Sophie Molineux to Freya Kemp, SIX, the left-hander on strike, so Sophie Molineux tries to hide it wide of off. Freya Kemp read the game so well, moved across and belted it straight down the ground to raise the voices of the English fans at the ground
17.4
4
Ashleigh Gardner to Freya Kemp, FOUR, now she lofts this over the on-side and gets another important boundary
17.1

Ashleigh Gardner to Nat Sciver-Brunt, 1 run, moves across and pulls this flighted delivery to deep backward square leg and it's a fighting fifty for the England captain. 20th T20I fifty, 9th in World Cups and second of the tournament. She raises the bat and acknowledges the applause

Kim Garth to Nat Sciver-Brunt, FOUR, oh she aimed to hit it over short fine leg but the ball went off the outer half of the bat and flew over short third. Full toss down the leg-side, NSB got across for the scoop and managed to get a boundary despite a false shot
15.1
4
Sophie Molineux to Nat Sciver-Brunt, FOUR, backs away and plays a lovely drive on the rise. No one in the deep on the off-side, so NSB gave her some room and smashed it through cover
14.4

Annabel Sutherland to Freya Kemp, FOUR, wristed, fielder at deep mid-wicket, Wareham it was. She dived to the right and got a hand on it, was a fairly easy stop, but she doesn't flick it back properly. In fact she pushed it further away to the boundary as she couldn't control the momentum of her slide. Slower delivery, Freya Kemp wrists it to deep mid-wicket and Wareham broke her sunglasses when trying to stop the ball
14.1
4
Annabel Sutherland to Freya Kemp, FOUR, the Aussies would hope Annabel Sutherland gets her act right at least now. England will want her to continue to be below-par. One of those games for Annabel Sutherland where she is struggling for control. Fires a short of length delivery down the leg-side with fine leg up and Freya Kemp easily sends this over the infield for four
12.3
4
Lucy Hamilton to Freya Kemp, FOUR, nicely driven past mid-off. Slower delivery outside off stump, overpitched and Freya Kemp managed to get under it and belt it past mid-off for four

Kim Garth to Heather Knight, out Lbw!! The smarts to take pace off, fox the batter on the shot, keep it wicket to wicket, force her to play early and trap her LBW plumb in front. A satisfying wicket for Kim Garth because she planned it and executed to the T. The leg-cutting slower delivery, Heather Knight wanted to flick, didn't read the slower ball, was through the shot early and took the review with her. Impact in line with middle, hitting leg stump flush says ball-tracker. Kim Garth appealed and roared with a fist pump in her celebration when the finger went up. Heather Knight lbw b Kim Garth 2(6)

Sophie Molineux to Alice Capsey, out Bowled!! Reverse sweep, scoop, reverse sweep again and this time Sophie Molineux knocks her over. Look at her roar. Completely beat the batter for pace. Molineux punches the air and says "come onnn." Full delivery, too full to reverse sweep actually. Capsey was late on the shot, ball already sneaked through before the bat came down in line and the ball hit the off stump. Alice Capsey b Sophie Molineux 23(20) [4s-2 6s-1]
9.2
Sophie Molineux to Alice Capsey, no run, appeal for LBW, not given and the Aussies review. Seemed like glove was involved as well. But we will see anyway. Off the glove, review lost. Capsey tries to play the reverse sweep, ball hit her in line with the sticks but it hit the glove

Ashleigh Gardner to Alice Capsey, FOUR, yet again in this over good use of the feet by Capsey gives her a boundary. Flighted delivery outside off stump, Ashleigh Gardner tried to hide it wide of off, but Capsey was able to crunch the cover drive off the middle of the bat and close out this 16-run over

Ashleigh Gardner to Alice Capsey, SIX, oh shottt! Creamed over wide long-on. Again the use of the feet, this time she gets to pitch of this offie, hit it with the turn and timed it super sweet to clear the boundary. England finally get an over that they can target
8.1

Ashleigh Gardner to Alice Capsey, FOUR, the sound off the bat was good and that smack over mid-wicket raises the England fifty. Gardner tosses this up, Capsey steps out and takes it on the full, flicks it on one leg and beats deep mid-wicket to the left
5.4
Lucy Hamilton to Alice Capsey, 1 run, Australia have messed up a runout! Had the throw been good from Gardner to the bowler, England would have been three down. Slower delivery, Capsey backed away and dragged it to mid-wicket. Took off despite hitting it straight to Gardner. And then the fielder fumbled, hurried her throw to catch Capsey short and fired a widish throw. Imagine England losing a wicket off a free-hit!

Annabel Sutherland to Danni Wyatt-Hodge, out Caught by Beth Mooney!! Would you believe it? Annabel Sutherland has had a really bad start and still got a wicket. She's fired this short of length delivery down the leg-side, Danni looked to tickle it fine but the ball tickled the batter's glove. Mooney couldn't hold on the first time (of course difficult when it's down the leg-side and when the batter blinds you), it lobbed off the keeper's glove to the left but Mooney was able to recover in time and dive to complete the catch on the second attempt. Wonder how the ump gave that as a wide initially when there was a definite sound. What luck for Annabel Sutherland. She's struggled for control all through the over, leaked runs and still managed to get a wicket. The third ump took a long time to see if Mooney took the catch clean on the second attempt but Danni didn't wait and walked the moment she saw the spike on UltraEdge. Full credit to Mooney for forcing the review. Danni Wyatt-Hodge c Beth Mooney b Annabel Sutherland 8(9) [4s-1]

Annabel Sutherland to Nat Sciver-Brunt, FOUR, slower ball, picked and belted past mid-wicket for four more. Annabel Sutherland has leaked 10 runs and only bowled 3 legal balls so far. She wanted to take pace off to try and stop NSB but the batter picked the variation from the hand, cleared her front leg out of the way and smashed it

4
Annabel Sutherland to Nat Sciver-Brunt, FOUR, on the pads, poor line with no one on the long leg fence. They had a fielder at short fine but NSB smartly played it squarer. Deep backward square leg had no chance running to the right

4
Sophie Molineux to Danni Wyatt-Hodge, FOUR, tries to be aggressive and almost missed the ball! The arm ball on the fuller side, Danni steps out for an inside out drive past cover, gets a thick edge that goes between backward point and short third instead
1.3
4
Lucy Hamilton to Nat Sciver-Brunt, FOUR, first ball, crunchy cover drive and that should feel so good for Nat Sciver-Brunt. Full and outside off stump, this is a driving length for sure and NSB obliged
1.2

Lucy Hamilton to Amy Jones, out Caught by Georgia Voll!! Edged and taken at short third. Amy Jones cannot believe her luck. It wasn't a driving length for a conventional outside edge to be taken behind the wicket. This was actually really full, easier to drive but Amy only manages to thick edge that decided to go where short third was exactly stationed. The ball was so full that people were wondering if it was a bump ball. First wicket of the tournament for Lucy Hamilton in her 5th game. Great start for the Aussies. Amy Jones c Georgia Voll b Lucy Hamilton 6(6) [4s-1]

Kim Garth to Amy Jones, FOUR, oh the under edge past the stumps! Georgia Wareham puts in a brilliant dive and flicks it back but the ball still rolls and touches the rope. Litchfield tried to back up from short fine and even she dived to save the four but the ball had just kissed the boundary cushions. This was a short of length delivery outside off stump, Amy was early on the cut, didn't bounce as much and she got away with the edge
