Chris Green to Lamichhane, out Caught&Bowled!! A near collision but Green takes the skier eventually. Hetmyer also wanted to get under this, and neither of them called for this. In the end, the Aussie did well to cling onto it. Lamichhane saw the flight and with this being the final over, wasn't going to die wondering. Went for the slog sweep, only to get a fat top edge that went straight up. Taken well. Lamichhane c and b Chris Green 0(1)

Chris Green to R Reifer, out Caught by Rutherford!! Holes out in the deep. On the shorter side and this surface doesn't allow you to hit balls from that length with ease. Reifer tried with a pull stroke that lacked sting however, and Rutherford takes yet another catch, this time at deep mid-wicket. R Reifer c Rutherford b Chris Green 11(13) [4s-1]

K Paul to Lalor, SIX, crunched! Priceless runs for the Tridents. Paul was getting predictable with his lengths and pace, and Lalor absolutely clobbered this short ball into the deep square leg stands. Got a big piece of this

Chris Green to Duminy, out Caught by Rutherford!! Just what the Tridents did not want at this stage. The well-set Duminy has to depart. Another batsman who falls prey to the extra bounce on the surface. He hung back for the pull shot and was probably forced into going aerial due to the lift off the deck. Made fair connection but didn't place it well at all. Picked out deep square leg with precision. This will hurt the hosts, that's for sure. Duminy c Rutherford b Chris Green 38(32) [4s-2 6s-2]

Tahir to R Reifer, FOUR, thick bottom edge that's well short of slip but it sneaks through and races away to the fence. Tridents have been lucky in getting a few runs like this tonight, at least 15 runs in this fashion. Reifer wanted to cut this googly off the back foot but it barely bounced, taking the bottom part of the blade

Chris Green to Nurse, out Stumped!! Excellent glovework from Pooran! He's had a hard time against the turning ball tonight, especially with the bounce but this is superb stuff. Nurse wanted to play the switch hit in desperation but ended up missing it totally and lost his balance just a bit, dragging his foot slightly outside the crease. Pooran did have to contend with the extra bounce on the off break but he did that well, collecting it near the chest before whipping off the bails as quickly as he could. Must say that this is poor from Nurse. Should be trying to fight it with JPD. Nurse st Pooran b Chris Green 11(11) [6s-1]

Odean Smith to Nurse, SIX, into the top tier! Nurse certainly has the power and shows that in this powerful blow. Shortish from Smith and this time, Nurse was ready for it with a fierce pull over deep mid-wicket. Mammoth hit!

Odean Smith to Boucher, out Caught by Hetmyer!! Smith has the last laugh! Boucher never looked comfortable against the extra bounce from ball one and not surprisingly, falls to one that climbs alarmingly at him from a shorter length. He tried to hit his way out of trouble by pulling with his eyes closed and could only lob a top edge straight up towards the cover region. Hetmyer settles under it. None of the batsmen showing the will to stick it out with Duminy who is running out of partners here. Boucher c Hetmyer b Odean Smith 8(12) [4s-1]

Odean Smith to Boucher, FOUR, streak runs but the Tridents won't mind. Runs have come at a trickle in recent overs and this is a pressure release for sure. Boucher threw his bat this length ball that bounced a fraction, inducing a thick edge that cleared short third man with ease

Shoaib Malik to Holder, out Caught by Chris Green !! The spin choke is on. Holder never really looked settled and could have been out on multiple occasions already. He's finally on his bike. Wanted to upset the bowling by charging down track but never got to the pitch for the loft and ended up skying it towards long-on where Green makes no mistake. Not an easy surface to start playing shots straightaway and the Tridents batsmen are realizing that the hard way. There is a bit of slowness and the older ball is gripping a touch too, with a bit of bounce as well. Good luck slogging with all this. Holder c Chris Green b Shoaib Malik 2(8)

Tahir to Holder, byes, FOUR, misses the stumps by a whisker! Holder is having a hell lot of luck already. Tahir cannot believe what's happened here. Cracking googly that's too good for Holder who tries to push at it but is beaten on the inside edge and whizzes past the leg pole too. Pooran is struggling a bit to keep to the turning ball and although these are tough takes, he could have done better

Tahir to Duminy, SIX, straight as an arrow! Courageous hit from Duminy but then, he knows Tahir inside out after all. Charged down the track, got to the pitch and hoisted this dead straight down the ground. Rams into the sightscreen
8
Shoaib Malik to Holder, 1 run, run out chance missed! This is what pressure does, makes you do silly things. Holder bunted this towards the mid-on region and wanted a single but the run was always risky on this occasion. A direct hit at the bowler's end would have had him in real danger. In fact, he would have been out by yards!

Shoaib Malik to Holder, byes, FOUR, how did this miss the stumps? Blimey! Sharp turn for Malik who flighted this on middle and off, drawing Holder forward and this off break gripped sharply. Beat the inside edge and almost shaved the leg pole, leaving Pooran clueless as it raced to the fence. Oh my!!

Tahir to J Carter, out Lbw!! Late decision from the umpire and Tahir is off on his celebratory run. Double strike and Guyana are back in business. Carter for some reason, isn't pleased with the decision but I'm not sure why. This was a fullish leg break and spun just a bit to beat Carter's inside edge as he lunged forward to defend. Looked quite close in real time and the only thing that could have saved him was his stride but again, that was marginal. Tahir was instantly excited and put on a vociferous appeal that was upheld. Tahir to Hales, out Caught by Hetmyer!! And respond they do!! Who else but that man, Tahir to land a counterpunch!! Slower googly and although Hales did the right thing by opting for the slog-sweep, I don't think he got the desired elevation on the shot. Picked out deep mid-wicket to precision. It was hit with a fair amount of power mind you, but Hetmyer is a mighty good fielder and did well to hold on near the fence. Hales looked ominous and hence, this is a vital blow from Tahir. Hales c Hetmyer b Tahir 24(15) [4s-2 6s-1]

Romario Shepherd to Duminy, FOUR, fortune with the Tridents, that's for sure. Another off cutter and Duminy wanted to guide this down to third man. Went more off the outside half of the blade, well short of slip and sneaked past the fielder as well. Too fine for the deep fielder to be of any use

6
Romario Shepherd to Duminy, SIX, top edge but it's gone all the way! All of a sudden, runs flowing for the hosts. Duminy was clearly late on this short ball but the thing he did well was to go hard on the pull and fetched maximum reward for it

4
K Paul to Duminy, FOUR, Tridents batsmen clearly fancy Paul tonight as Duminy joins in the fun. Another harmless dragdown from the all-rounder and it's dispatched behind square leg with a wristy pull. 18 off the over!

4
K Paul to Hales, FOUR, more runs! Paul isn't having a good night so far, sprays this short and wide, and Hales pounces on it with a fiery cut through backward point

K Paul to Hales, SIX, this is vintage Hales! Wow! Length ball and it was angled into him, he nonchalantly picks it up and deposits this into the crowd at deep backward square leg. Such crisp hitting!

W
Romario Shepherd to Justin Greaves, out Caught by Rutherford!! Shepherd doesn't waste much time getting into his stride. Cuts short Greaves's impressive little knock and starts off with his wacky celebration moves. Back of a length and the slowness of the surface undid Greaves who was early into the aerial pull across the line. Ended up getting a fat slice towards sweeper cover where Rutherford takes a reasonably sharp catch. It was swerving away from him a bit due to the wind but he is a damn good fielder. Justin Greaves c Rutherford b Romario Shepherd 11(10) [4s-2]

Tahir to Justin Greaves, FOUR, lovely batting! Picked the googly early, did Greaves, and placed the sweep nicely behind square leg. No protection in the deep there and it races away

Chris Green to Hales, FOUR, finds the fence this time! A touch fuller than Green would have liked and Hales gets hold of it with an aerial flick through square leg. Strong wrists and he picked his spot well, leaving the deep fielder with no chance

K Paul to Justin Greaves, FOUR, elegant shot! Stroke of a man in-form as Greaves leans into this widish length ball to carve it through the gap at backward point. Timed it sweetly and hit it on the rise, making it seem an easier shot than it really was. Action-packed first over

K Paul to Charles, out Caught by Tahir!! Talk about having contrasting luck in the same over. Another freebie from Paul to be honest but this time, Charles's upper cut can only go as far as third man where Tahir takes a comfortable catch. Not a wicket-taking delivery by any means but after the punishment he copped earlier in the over, Paul won't be complaining that's for sure. Charles c Tahir b K Paul 11(5) [4s-1]

K Paul to Charles, FOUR, freebie to start and Charles cashes in straightaway. Short and wide, he reaches out to cut this past the diving backward point fielder and despite Tahir's desperate attempts at third man, he was always struggling
