PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Zimbabwe and their fans deserve to celebrate. It will be a long long night. They only had 141 to defend in the first game and they did so. They had 247 to play with today and they have done it again. Despite the runs on the board, this never came easily for them! On that happy note, we will take an exit as well.
Richard Ngarava: To be honest, we just said to ourselves, we had a pretty poor first game, so we need to do better. We just got in nicely and scored that, we sort of like had a couple of partnerships, which was nice. Then on to the bowling. I mean, we were always working as a bowling unit, which is quite nice. And like I always say, Zimbabwe, they always find a way. That was quite special, especially from Brad. I give credit to the coaching staff there, to some extent, they're always giving me a rub off their shoulders there for using the sidearm, which is quite nice. And the results are showing again, which is pretty good. You still need to ask the experienced guys and we get to let them know that this is exactly what we're thinking. But at the end of the day, I'm the one who makes the final decision and feel. It's very special to be honest you know, I'm good. I'm going to be happy, I'm going to celebrate this. But of course we still have another game in hand. We still want to play the third game and make sure we get the final one as well.
Ben Curran: The conditions played slightly different in the winter, and so obviously this morning as we saw a little bit more was happening and probably in the afternoon. So, to get to the total we did, I think was a good effort. I haven't played one-days in a while, so just took the confidence from the previous series, albeit a long time ago, and just, yeah, I mean, cliche, but sticking to my processes and how I go about scoring around. I had no choice but to try and bat through. It was first time batting with Evans. But yeah, he played beautifully, obviously took the pressure, I guess, off me because I wasn't striking it you know as clean as he was towards the back end.
Mehidy Hasan: I think we bowled really well the first couple of overs, and we took four wickets. But unfortunately, they got partnership at the last moment. I think they had the 98-run (99 actually) partnership for the 6th wicket. That was very disappointing because we didn't get a wicket nor got a chance. Yes, I think we could do better in a few areas. We have to make partnership in the bowling unit. I think that moment we cannot get a partnership and they batted really well that time. And I hoped that, but we had to take a wicket that time. So if you take a wicket, definitely momentum comes. Yes, I think the wickets looks very good. I think 248 really is very good score. And in the second half, I think ball came easily on to the bat and we batted really well. But we had two partnerships, few areas like the last couple of 10 overs. If we got partnerships, definitely it would have been better. Yes, a little bit dark, but still, still we have very good positive sign with us.
Sikandar Raza: I think our journey really started from the World Cup, and I think we carried on the momentum. The beauty about this, I reckon a year ago, we find ourselves in this position and somehow the game would slip away. But I think just what win does to our team culture, I think now we can believe that we can win the game from any position. And if you look at today as well, there was a time where you think the game slipped away but everybody clawed their way back, bowled really well, fielded well, and here we are. Winter wicket is a lot different than the summer wicket at Harare. Winter wicket, you're looking at 250 par. The moisture stays in the wicket for too long, so the first 30-35 overs could be very tricky, and then it does slowly become easier. So for me, it was just that I thought the wicket was still slightly soft and the ball wasn't coming on. So for me, it was to try to get a partnership going so that we could build on something. And as much as it was uncharacteristic, but I think it did exactly what the team needed and I'm slightly upset that I didn't carry on but hopefully the next time. PC is a real fighter we have among ourselves. I mean, he had a tough game the first game. He was really upset that he got out the way he got out as run out, and today he was determined. And the fight and the character he showed today, he's done that before, and he'll continue to do it for us for a very long time. As the lights were coming on, I mean, the crowd kept cheering us up. But I think before the lights came on, when there was a period when the game was slipping away, we could hear our fans singing and shouting, saying, not to give up, something will happen. And they have their own songs. So I think it's those things that goes a long way, especially the crowds.
17:55 Local Time, 15:55 GMT, 21:25 IST: Zimbabwe have been too hot to handle. They take the series 2-0. Harare has come alive. This is a huge win. This is a statement about Zimbabwean cricket being in the right direction. They just kept coming back at Bangladesh. Tanzid got a fifty, looked set, Zimbabwe dismissed him at the right time. They did the same to Hridoy and Nurul, both of whom looked set and should have finished it off. Once Nurul fell, Mehidy had to see it through but sadly too many wickets fell at the other end and he was the last man dismissed. The dipping natural light also played its part making the game wear a pensive look. Every ball towards the last 30 minutes was like an event. The rotation of the bowlers was also excellent. Bennett struck a wicket when it was needed which was his maiden ODI scalp. Raza did the same. Muzarabani as well and the skipper just put the finishing touches. Zimbabwe were deserving winners as they played in a more proactive manner.

Richard Ngarava to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, out Caught by Brad Evans!! Zimbabwe take the series. They take it with a game to spare. This is massive. Bangladesh have been playing some good white ball cricket of late but the hosts have been amazing. They had the belief and they have managed to steal this. That was a short ball, angled in, the batter went for the pull and only managed to find the man at deep backward. It is fitting that the Zimbabwean skipper has finished it off. The Bangladesh skipper is distraught. This will be a bitter pill to swallow. Mehidy Hasan Miraz c Brad Evans b Richard Ngarava 27(33) [4s-3]
Richard Ngarava to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Brad Evans to Shoriful Islam, out Bowled!! Evans, you beauty! That was a fuller length delivery, angled in, Shoriful Islam looks to defend and misses the line of the delivery to be clean bowled. Superb delivery from Brad Evans and poor batting. He should have kept that out. The newish ball I guess skidded on a bit more than the older one. Shoriful Islam played that with a huge gap between bat and pad and Brad Evans managed to traverse through that. Sheer drama at Harare. 14 still needed. Shoriful Islam b Brad Evans 6(4) [4s-1]
Brad Evans to Shoriful Islam, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!

Brad Evans to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, no run, Mehidy Hasan Miraz isn't happy that it wasn't called as a wide! The batter moved across a little and the ball didn't miss the sticks by much. The umpire told the batter upon enquiry that he moved across

The ball will be changed as it has lost its colour. It looks greenish. The box of balls that were brought in didn't please the onfield umpires. Another batch of balls has been summoned for
